I was looking for a Laptop cart to use while teaching my virtual class. I saw laptop tables at Walmart.com for close to 100 dollars. Then, I came across this. All I can say it is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!!!!! The table top is just the right size to sit the laptop and easily can move. The hieght adjusts to the perfect size. I recommend this for every classroom teacher needing a place to place a laptop and having to stand. I am 6 ft and its perfect. (BUYING MORE!)
This Overbed Table works perfectly. It is a great product and very easy to assemble. My only suggestion would be on the locking wheels. The locks should be put on the back wheels, but nothing tells you that in the directions. Other than that, I love it.
We needed a small table to bring meals to my father, but didn't have a lot of space in the bedroom to set one up. This overbed table fit the bill. It is convenient and compact. When it is not in use, we can easily fold the tabletop down and push it into a corner. The tabletop is nice and study when properly tightened to use it. The only complaint that my father had was that since the top is so small, he can't put as much on it as he would like. Otherwise I would recommend.
Quick shipment and fairly easy to put together. Overall good sturdy product that I will be using as a stand-up desk. I like that it can serve as a desk and can be moved around. Working from home has created challenges of sitting too long and bored with the same space for hours on end. Perfect solution for variety. Would like to see holes for the vertical pole to lock into place versus the pressure plate. A lot of strength and pressure is needed to lock in place as it is now. Otherwise, I am happy with the purchase and have recommended it several times. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I am happy it's as good of quality that I hoped it was for a cheaper price than most I saw. Only wish it had instructions on how to put it together, but parts are numbered. It's not super complicated.
We are very happy to have this table. However, the base doesn't fit under our chair so it is hard to get the tray close for eating. Also, the tray tilts even though we have tightened it to prevent the tilting. We don't need the tilt. Being able to adjust the height is a wonderful feature that has worked well. This table is not super sturdy but it works for our needs and we are happy with it.
This table tray looks much nicer than I had expected it to look. Functions as advertised. My only complaint would be that there is nothing to stop the tray table from disconnecting from its extender rod, so when it does, it's a real hassle to put back together. I think there should be a "stop mechanism" so that you can extend the tray table horizontally as far as it can go without having to worry about the table completely falling off, thereby requiring partial reassembly. I was wanting this to go under a lift chair. I thought keeping the wheels off would allow it to go under the chair but it cant because of its I designed footing and the chair design for lifting. Plus to make top stationary level had to tighten the knob excessively I felt. As for its use it would be great for many things just not what I was hoping for.
You have to be a muscle man or have man hands to loosen and tighten what makes it to go up and down and the tilting table. Even on tight to almost bending the tilting table still tilts! It works though without it Id be SOL.
The rod arm that holds the table surface itself is, for some reason, cylindrical (the only component to have this shape); as such, it spins freely. This inexplicably poor design choice makes the surface extremely unstable tipping back and forth at random and could have easily been corrected by simply making the rod square like the rest of the table frame. Do not buy this product unless you like spilling food everywhere.
