Plum RAM IG68 Phone

I've had this phone for years. Dropped it in the sink. Dropped on the bathroom tile floor several times. Dropped it in the toilet. Yes, it all still worked!!!!!! Okay, so now that I've had it so long I finally flew and dropped it on cement, and it is not working. It works with TMobile as it is 4GVolte. Please note that it is not a very "smart" phone, though can get web, I do not as I prefer privacy to WiFi. So yes, if you want a phone that is almost indestructible for a very reasonable price - get it!!!

the writing in direction book too small

the writing was too small in the direction book and too technical too complicated I just want to be able to dial the phone number make it more simple and you dumb it down a little bit

Doesn't work on 4G

The phone it self is a very rugged phone. It will NOT work on the 4g-5g network!!! Do NOT buy this phone. I have tried to get my money back but they DON"T reply!!! DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE !!!

Beware

This is the worst phone ever. It has an echo, and sounds like you are talking through aluminum foil. Constant background noise. We missed calls and during conversations the voice would just fade in and out. When I say we missed calles, family members would call 5 times and not get through and it wouldn't show they called. When calling there would be a 45 second delay before it would connect to the service. Some occasions it would not connect and I'd have to redial. I would say these phones are like walkie talkies, only working short ranges and only with each other. We thought it was the new carrier we tried. Not so. It was totally the phone. Yes it is unlocked and can work on several systems. Bottom line save time and money don't buy this. I bought (3) Returned them as soon as my other phones came in. One week with a horrible product.

Garbage phone. Waste of lots of time/money.

I am on Consumer Cellular. I don't want a smartphone. They recently shut off 3G and forced everyone to move to 4G, which is what started this mess. I've been trying to use this phone for a couple months now. Initially, the Plum phone worked ok. I moved my SIM card over, it made calls. It wouldn't text until I manually entered the connection information into the phone for Consumer Cellular services. But that's OK. I'm willing to work a little harder to find a good phone. I got help from CC to make sure I had the correct proxy and connection name set. A couple caveats - I didn't know that this phone has ZERO volume control. It has volume modes - so you can have vibrate, or very loud, or silent. That's it. That's almost a deal breaker on its own, but not quite. The keypad worked well for a while. Other phones I've tried each key is different and some would capture multiple numbers for each key press or you'd have to press multiple times to get it to register once. This phone didn't have that problem initially. Now it does. So it's worse than the phone I switched from. The biggest issue though, is texting. You can only store a maximum of 200 texts, and only 6 of those can be MMS texts, which means you won't get more until you delete old ones. Now that the keypad has stopped working well, it's extremely difficult to text, anyway. Plus it doesn't have the conversation view, and it doesn't allow you to text multiple people simultaneously - which is a feature of MMS texting. It sends them individually, which means that nobody else you send to can "reply all" and they won't know who the text is for. Garbage phone. Waste of the entire cost. Camera seems OK. Did not use it much. Built in radio is good.
