This product did exactly what we expected and helped my foot and I to get a much needed good nights rest!
I wear this at night...in the morning I can walk w/o pain.I put it on when I am going to take a nap as well..really makes a difference. Remember to give them your foot size.
Once I figured out how to use it properly for my foot, I found relief in one night. It's soft, which is great. But I may need a little more rigidity if this doesn't clear up for good. The splint alone is not enough. Rest, staying off the foot, ibuprofen, stretching, and wearing the splint during downtime and at night eventually brought relief from my plantar fasciitis. This was considerably less expensive than what was available from the doctor or specialty pharmacy. Glad I made this purchase!
The product manages to keep my foot stationary and in the "L" position. I do have soreness in my calf where the splint sits though.
I'm replacing the one I had before. I like it because it's not cumbersome & still allows you to walk easily if you need to get up in the middle of the night.
these have helped me with my plantar fasciitis and achilles tendonitis. I have less swelling and pain with use and find them easy to sleep in.
This worked far better than expected. Its a bit uncomfortable to sleep in, but greatly reduced symptoms within 2 nights' use. Be sure to buy the proper size and adjust it for a snug fit. Pull the cross-straps tight enough to pull toes slightly upward to stretch the tendons a little. Best to use in conjunction with a mild anti-inflamatory like ibuprofen.
This night splint does okay, but because the base is plastic, it still allows you to bend your foot past the 90 degree mark. It is comfortable and easy to use though.
I bought this product to help ease my plantar fasciitis overnight. It does not fir tightly around top of foot and ankle. Because of this, my foot slides up and heel does not stay anywhere near the bootom of the splint. There is at least an inch gap between the splint and my heel when this happens...not very comfortable at all.
