This works great to elevate toilet so can get rid of commode. You cannot use quick release toilet seat with riser so make sure the one you purchase doesn't have this. Very happy with outcome of purchase!
I really like this product. Way better then the kind you sit on toliet and easy to clean. I like that it goes under your toliet seat. Would recommend it to anyone needing a seat riser.

Easy to install. Problem I see are slots in the seat where the lid attach to the toilet are impossible to clean and large enough to get lots of stuff in. Also hinge area is going to be hard to clean
Don't ever try to return anything to Walmart, unless you have a lot of time to spend.
Could not tighten screws. Even if they tightened the cap over the screw would not close. This does not work. Money thrown away since it is not returnable.
