These are so healing and soothing!
I'm so glad I found these. Of all the variations out there. It seems that people are making a gel similar to hydrocolloid, but it's not the true thing… but these are!
I burnt the inside of my leg bad, and these saved me! I almost bought the name brand ones that were 4x the price because I was worried they wouldn't stay on etc.. if you're worried about the same don't be! I slept, showered, wore clothes over etc for a full day and didn't have one problem, even had trouble getting it off.. probably could've gotten 2 days but wanted to clean it daily of course. I wish they were a bit bigger and more came in a box, and heads up- only the middle pad part is hydrocolloid. But they for sure got the job done, and made what could've been a miserable experience smooooth sailing 😎 Pic is after one full day and full nights sleep.. still completely on corners aren't even lifting.
have been using on a coffee burn right between my legs. This cooled it off but my blister broke. the sore seems to be healing. i was surprised the box only contained 4 pads for the price.
i had avery large surface area to cover and my wound was extremely deep so they didnt work for me well at all... plus they are really $.. like 5 for $5 and im doing x2 dressing changes a day! id use 6 or 8 each change plus 3 to 5 abd pads. not cost effective at all and still leaked badly.
Im not sure what's worse.. my rope burn or the band aid rash. I liked the way it healed the wound but not that it gave me a rash. Hopefully the rash clears quickly.
While is says hydrocolloid, only the middle is made out of the material. The dimensions of the bandage were advertised as 2x3 inches. That would have covered most of it. But only about 1/3 is actually hydrocolloid. Hydrocolloid bandages have to stay on the wound until it COMPLETELY heals. Otherwise it sticks to the wound and peels off the newly formed skin. These bandages will not stay on for the needed amount of time.
I got these as a subsitute. These are terrible. First, they're difficult to apply. They stay on once you figure it out though, but once I did, I had already wasted one bandage. Then when it came time to remove them, they left a horrible residue where the blisters were. Horrible experience. Get the name brand.
These are the worst hydracolloid band aids I've ever used. They're thin %26 stick to themselves before you can even apply.
Do not buy these. These irritated my skin and were very itchy. I used them for 1 week and switched back to the Nexcare brand. I was very uncomfortable. These ripped my skin off around the edges and the center would come off in pieces when they were being removed.
