I have sensitive skin on my hands which get dry and irritated easily. I cannot use soaps with shea butter in them, and this soap does not have that. I also love the scent. Smells really nice but is not strong, and it does not stay on my hands for hours and hours like a lot of scented soaps (which I cannot tolerate). For some reason, I have a hard time finding the large refill size of this Rain Water scent, but buying the pack of 3 pump-size has been economical. The lavender scent is also very nice; a little more fragrant, but still works just as well for me.
Mrs. Meyer's makes quality products that have wonderful smells! The Rain Day scent is probably my favorite of all of them. It's clean and bright, comforting somehow. I also use the body lotion in this scent, and I catch myself smelling my arm all day! Just a lovely, non-floral, non-sweet, non-musky scent.
Everyone loved my hostess gift! Paired the hand soap with a dish towel and tied it together saying “thank you for hosting, you are hands down the best!”
By far my favorite Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day liquid hand soap! It's just masculine enough that my husband likes to use it, too! I do wish these soaps were a bit more sudsy, BUT they smell amazing, clean thoroughly, and last a surprisingly long time. I will continue to stock up on this one!
Mrs. Meyers uses no harsh chemicals, comes in various pleasant scents, and is not (yet) overly pricey. Although I've noticed they have shrunk product size to keep the price at around $4. I gave 4 Stars only because my home delivery went to the wrong address @ my next door neighbor's.
Okay, so I love Meyers products and this one is good but the smell, albeit a nice one, is way overpowering! I have noticed with their fragrances they can be strong, but this one, wow, I have to rinse and dry a lot longer so it won't linger on my hands because it's so strong. Too much of a nice smell. I will stick with the lavender one next time.
I am always on the lookout for the Apple scented Mrs. Myers hand soap to use in the kitchen, however I can no longer find it...What's the scoop, Mrs. Myers??? Did you discontinue the Apple fragrance soap? I tried the rain water scent and it is just okay...I'd have preferred it to be even lighter in fragrance, but such is life. I am certain that many other people find it to be wonderful. Everything other than the fragrance is just fine. If Mrs. Myers has discontinued the Apple scented hand soap, would they please reconsider manufacturing it?
This soap has a gel texture thats not like other hand soaps in this product line. Almost no sudsing, even in very soft water. Has to add dish detergent to actually get my hands clean.
While I like Mrs. Meyer's soap, I wish I could find the Iowa pine scent. I bought this one - used it a few times and put it in my husband's bathroom - Hopeing maybe he'll like it. The scent was just too strong for me.
The good aspects of this product (natural ingredients) over outweighed by the bad: cannot rinse enough to get rid of sticky feeling on hands.
