Nice and needed,but needs to fit 16 in center ,
I purchased 2 sizes of this grip; for the tub and the shower. It is NOT a suction mount and therefore is extremely strong and secure. Documentation states a safe weight of 400 pounds. I don't expect to test that but it is solid. It was easy to install and comes with hardware to make the complete installation. In my opinion, this is excellent!
I wanted a grab bar for my tub/shower so planned to mount it on the studs; this bar says 16" but the mounts are only 12"-14" apart so I'm returning it. There are others on the Walmart website that have an actual measurement diagram that shows they can be mounted on studs at 16" centers so I will get one of those instead.
