I love this book! I have used it now to make two different kinds of cake pops already and they came out darling. Not only does it give you 100?s of ideas for cake pops it gives you detailed instructions and techniques to use! I would highly recommend!
This book is wonderful. So many wonderful ideas to try and I look forward to trying them all out. Good thing I have lots of eager tasters in my house. I have only started making these in the last 3 months and have had such joy in making them for my kids. I look forward to checking out all of the products used and start adding them to my baking collection. I am looking forward to trying on some of the different recipes that are suggested.
I can't wait to get my copy. My friend has a cake decorating supply store and I try to support her business as much as I can. She has ordered all the supplies to create a Wilton Pops section in her store. I have pre-viewed her copy of this book and it has so many ideas I can't wait to try. Excellent book! If your into Cake Pops you need this book!
I love this book! Cake pops are really popular right now and this book is full of cake pop ideas. My granddaughters love looking at this book for new ideas. Then we take cake pops to their birthday parties for the guest to decorate their own pops. The girls love it!
Cake Pops are popping up everywhere and are a wonderful new trend. This book is filled with such wonderful ideas and I could not stop looking through it for ideas for my customers. I love how there are accessories for the pops as well - especially the displays!! Absolutely wonderful work Wilton!!!
Loving this book. It has given me so many more ideas of things that I can do with cake pops/bites. I am new to all this and want to build a business around it. I like that it shows you how to do it with different mediums plus shows you the tools available to help you accomplish it. Definitely a reasonable price and in invaluable tool!
I think that this is a great new idea and the edible creations that can be made are just awesome. Kids birthday parties can be hands on and enjoyed more when one runs out of ideas. This is a fun and simple way to help kids use their imagination as well as adults enjoying their time watching what they come up with. Wonderful book that takes you further into the many options of "sweets on a stick" The book shows numerous options on transforming a simple round cake ball to something extravagant. It also shows that not only can cake be beautifully fun on a stick but so can cookies, brownies and cereal treats. The wonderful step by step instructions that we all have to come to enjoy from Wilton help you further develop your treat into a masterpiece. The book also highlights the many new presentation products available. I am very excited to have this book as a decorating guide and would recommend this to anyone into the "pop" craze.
I love the pictures and ideas but I would like more instructions
I think the ideas in this book were pretty good and I liked that it covered all kinds of stick-based items (cookies, brownies, etc.) instead of just the traditional cake pops. However, I found quite a few errors in the recipes and was disappointed with how far off my cake pops turned out after following the Wilton recipe. I ended up having to check online here to find the correct recipes and even after that I got nowhere hear the yield they said I would. Plus, they recommend WAY too much icing in their cakepops. (The Discussion Forums have a thread about how much you should use instead.) All in all it had some cute ideas but I wouldn't use it for recipes or directions.
