Used on an EZ Access tri-fold ramp to give the needed clearance to keep the ramp from scratching the painted bumper on our van. Easy to install with locking action onto the ramp with one bolt and locking nut to secure. This is an exceptional accessory to the ramp.
I bought two of these threshold ramps for a friend who'll be in a wheelchair for a couple of months. She had been unable to go out on either of her patios without assistance and was stuck inside. The ramps allowed her to navigate on her own. Light but sturdy. Ramp texture provides good traction.
These lip extensions are great for that last little bit that needs to extend over the edge of an SUV when I need to load a powerchair. They may reduce the overall capacity of the ramp, but there is no rider when I use these, so it's not a problem. I can remove them when I use the ramps for those situations when there is a rider on the chair. Great!
I use them to get my wheelchair into my toyota sienna. They keep my wheelchair from tearing up the door seal.
My friend is on a wheel chair and moved recently to a new apartment that had a step between the kitchen and the living room. I'm very pleased with the ramp I bought. It was easy to install and the material is excellent. Now she can go in and out the kitchen smoothly! I highly recommend this product.
We recently purchased a suitcase ramp with the extensions. Our intended use was to move the 25 gallon Husky Toolboxes that we use for our educational science outreach programs into our cargo van. Up to this point (we have had it for about 3 months), it has been fantastic, cutting our load times to a fraction of what they had been. Thanks!
I use this ramp and extensions so my older dog can get into our camper. Great product and works very well siting in the top camper stair tread!
We have a two inch threshold on our patio door. This allows me to push my husband out on the deck. It is excellent & can be easily moved since we didn't secure it with screws. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Package arrived rather quickly in good condition. The ramp and extension are well engineered, well made and easy to use. Unfortunately for me the ramp will not serve my needs. However, the return process is well organized and simple to accomplish!!!!
After upgrading from an 86 Econoline to a '16 Transit, I discovered that the Transit rear doorway had a curved edge rather than straight like the Econoline as well as a deep bumper so the ramp wouldn't extend deep enough into the truck to reliably stay on. This extender does wonders and now there is no problem with staying on the truck. However, the way it's made there is a seemingly needless almost 2"high short steep ramp on the extender to get up onto the ramp, whereas it was flat before. I wish the angle of that slope was less (although that would make the extender even longer) or that it wasn't there at all so as to avoid having to get over that "bump". The sharp angle of the "bump" does make it dig into the floor better, though. I also wish there were an extender for the other end, too, since adding extenders to one end but not the other complicates the unfolding of the ramp. The far end from tre truck is no longer touching the ground when unfolding, so it wants to swing toward the truck and requires a contortion from the operator to keep in place and not get in the way. (A video would be clearer than my description.) Other than that, these extenders let me use a ramp that would not have been possible to use with this van so I'm grateful for that. Ramp and extenders definitely make my life easier. Thanks!
