This product leaves my curls defined where they fall loose. I have tighter 3c type curls on top a looser 3a as you move down layers and straight with an inch or so of curl at the end on my bottom layer(s) this has done anastounding job at keeping it curled, soft, and bouncy!
I wanted a product to bring out my natural curl without making it look dry and brittle. This sculpting cream gel does the trick!. Plus it gives me shine and the price is right. I looked at other products, but they were way to pricey! Thanks Garnier I am a happy camper.
I am Black American w/ natural 3b/3c hair type. I just got this product yesterday along with the "Curl Calm Down Ant-Frizz Cream" and the "Curl Construct Mousse" I used all three this AM after co-washing my hair and OMG NO FRIZZ!!! NO FRIZZ!!! I will be using these products from now on!!! So amazed by this product pictures speak a thousand words. . . I will be recommending this product on the Black Hair Care page that I help moderate on Facebook!!!
To keep it short and simple, I have curly hair, hard to manage at times when it's dry and curly... the scrunch gel has really helped give it the wet look that I've always wanted and it keeps it under control. NO FRIZZ whatsoever.. it's like a miracle! I recommend it, but you would go through at least 10 BOTTLES of this thing in a month or so... but it's worth buying!

I absolutely am a hair product junkie and feel like I am always searching for that go to curl product for my wavy/curly hair. I recently purchased a $30 cream gel, I know crazy right? I totally loved it but there was hardly any product for the price. So I knew that for years I have been obsessed with garnier leave in conditioner so of course I felt like I had to try the creme gel. I am so happy I did because my hair looks more defined and feels so soft. I also won't have to break the bank for it either. Great find.
I usually use the mousse as my go to hair product..but after trying this...I'm sold! It's not like most styling gels..it's a cream gel! It's almost like mousse and gel had a baby..and added moisturizer to it..I love it..and it keeps my curls bouncy and softly held together all day! Sometimes, I can wake up and my hair still looks great!
I used this product twice with my all-natural/no relaxed hair. Once with my hair in it's natural curl state (4C...or I should say "a mind of it's own") and it did not hold/separate or define my curls. But I didn't want to give up on it. So I tried it again using a two strand twist out mixed with olive oil. First things first...this gel mixed well with the oil. That's a huge plus for curly girls. So I applied it like I normally do to my hair. A full day later when my hair was dried I untwisted my hair and...whoa...let me tell you...the shine and hold (not firm...but soft hold) what amazing. If you don't like stiff gels, this is one for you!
My hair has been dry and frizzy for as long as I can remember. I read some of the reviews and saw some of the pictures which prompted me to try it. I am completely satisfied. It didn't get rid of all of the frizz on the top layer, but the curls were prominent. I am sure I will get better at application. I am 71 and my hair falls below my shoulders.
I was using this product more than 4 years, loving how worked and the daily results. Making my curls soft and sculpture the definition, BUT AFTER THE LAST CHANGE ITS HORRIBLE, I really upset, hair is heavy, doesn't looks natural and soft like before! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
