I have been using this to keep my colon healthy for several years. I add it to my morning breakfast homemade smoothie: 1/2 cup Blended fruits, 1 scoop of Whey Protein, 1 large tablespn of Wheat bran, 1 tbsp. of ground Flax Seed and a dollop of milk or coffeemate. Delicious and full of energy for my 72 yr old body. I have also added to bread recipes.
Excellent product! I have almost one year buying this wheat bran and it has a mild flavor, perfect size, and it's very loose and dry.
Bob's is the best unprocessed wheat bran product on the market. I used to purchase on-line from Amazon.Com, but Walmart is cheaper if you can meet the no charge shipping minimum.
I purchased this product initially to make muffins, but since have used as extender in other food items without any noticeable change in taste. The muffins were awesome and this product is greats. The quantity for the price is amazing also. After opening, I stored in an airtight container...and no problems in degrading of product. I'd definitely purchase again when needed.
I wanted fresh wheat bran for baking at a fair price. Bob's wheat bran is fresh and priced very reasonably when bought in multi packs. I will freeze the extra to keep it fresh. Thanks for a quality product.
Very good for digestion and regularity
Wheat bran has become difficult to find in the supermarket. That's why I was so glad to see it on Walmart.com. Wheat bran is great added to yogurt, cereal, or in baking, especially muffins. I use a couple of tablespoons every day to make sure I'm getting my quota of dietary fiber.
I bought the same exact item at GNC before I found that Walmart carried it. I wish I had known this before.The size of the product is smaller at GNC - you don't get as much and you will pay more pr bag even with the membership discount, than at Walmart. I will buy this item at Walmart from now on.
I add this to everything to increase my Fiber.
Good quality & price on these generous sized packages. Only good quality sifted bran with no rough scrap like lower quality brands. Good for baking or eating straight in fiber increased diets.
