Overall excellent product

Gave new life to my lagging lg magic remote for B7 oled tv. Replaced it with this and no more lag. Bonus is Apple interface instead of LG interface. Only need magic remote now to switch to play video games else remote not needed. I do not like that the Apple Remote randomly connect and disconnects while watching tv. This is a known issue and not problematic except I see message. That message does appear more often as battery get weaker. Also once in while remote loses volume up down capability which is also a known issue but easily fixable by pushing two buttons on remote and again more often as battery weakens. Better charge makes all work better. I am guessing that both issues are Bluetooth related.

Best streamer I've ever owned

Connects to WiFi instantly, has Ethernet option if you prefer the old school wired connection. Has a bunch of storage compared to the WiFi only version. Remote is well solidly built, and is rechargeable so you don't have to go to the store to buy batteries and includes a volume control. This product is great overall and very satisfied with it. I've owned this product since February, and haven't had any issues. This is definitely worth the upgrade from an old Apple TV that's outdated. I have it currently connected to a TMY brand projector that I received from Christmas.

Great little product

It's got a beautiful interface and is very fast and stable. No problems and this is coming from a former Roku user. Updates are more better then Roku in the sense that you don't have to wait 2 weeks after one of your Roku's get an update. It has more storage and is more fast.

Must have!

Makes streaming services work that much better and so much less lag. Love that I can use Apple Fitness directly on my TV. Other side benefit is I can download some shows / movies for when my internet goes down, which with all the construction near our subdivision is very often! Highly recommend. Also worth picking up in Amazon the silicone remote cover so it won't scratch remote / make it more durable. Love that remote is rechargeable via usb-c

I had previously bought a Roku from Target a year ago just for it to fail on me. My roommate has an older Apple TV we have been using in the mean time and thought it was time to get my own. Apple has always had quality products so was okay spending the extra money compared to a new Roku. Works smoothly and everything, no complaints.

Large family needed TV options

There are eleven in our family so price is always a priority but you can only play so many board games b4 u need options! Works great on starlink. Learning curve moderate for 50yoa, not rocket science but at least being familiar wi cell phone, email and code scanner at least. So it's OK for value, I did purchase another.

Mostly like my iPhone and Mac but Apple TV sucks.

Years ago I traded my Apple TV for a Roku Ultra after getting annoyed with the amount of times I would need to restart the item after glitches but recently after getting fed up with the annoying ads on the Roku home screen I decided to try Apple and see if they have improved any on there streaming box and I honestly believe they've got worse... There only plus to a Roku in my opinion is there clean interface and lack of ads, I don't use the mirroring nor listen to music on my TV so all those Apple things don't do anything for me on my TV. There colors are horribly oversaturated on my LG OLED, any color that normally pops just screeches- neon colors are ridiculous. The orange color of a Coast Guard helicopter which is a vivid orange looks like it's glowing with a halo. Lady with hot pink hair looks like her head has a pink fire going on it. My previous ROKU ultra and apps on tv all appear perfect no matter if 4K, 1080, HDR... they all make for some impressive HDR content on my LG OLED, the Apple TV is the first time I have ever reached for the remote to try adjusting colors and to no avail does any setting on Apple TV correct this, and I refuse to adjust my TV as that is not the issue. My next issue is the remote, I just freaking hate it. Nearly a month and it's not grown on me, the Roku is much better in my opinion. Next issue- I still end up having to reset this stupid thing because of it freezing up at least every other day where the Roku maybe once every 2 weeks. Apple is not perfect but I normally find myself most happy with there products but in my opinion Roku is better in the streaming box department and this Apple TV will be going back. Gave it 2 stars because I'm sure there are streaming boxes worse out there but fortunately I have not used one.

Product is fine

...but like everything else walmart, you have to double check to make sure that it hasn't been opened then resold. pro tip - if the strip with the green dot on the end is intact you are OK. took a coupole of tries to get one that wasn't used.

The item i received was scratched up and used. The original box did not have the plastic on it and was heavily scratched. Only the remote was new. I reached out to walmart and refused to exchange it or to issue a refund. When walmart put the serial number on their computer it showed that the item was sold in another store but never returned then sold to me. Don't know how that happened. They said the serial number on my item did not matched up to the one they had on their system. Ended up keeping it since I had no choice.
