I get these every year for my kids and they never disappoint! I was excited to see a Guardians of the Galaxy one and I'm sure this year will be no different!

We have purchases a lego advent calendar yearly for the past several years. The builds are cute and easy, but the minifigs are where it's at, love them!
Loved this set - missed it last year and so I picked it up this year for my 8 year old who loves Guardians.
As with many other reviews I experienced the wrong/repeat packet being in the wrong door (Door 11 packet was in Door 18). I've built & bought many sets but this is my first Advent Calendar. Disappointed ☹️.
I am 3 days in to the calendar and my primary issue is that 2 of the 3 days the instructional photo inside the flap did not match the kit. Peeking inside the box, it appears that the pieces were flipped. For instance, top left picture is for the legos in the bottom left spot, the 2 spaces on the far left were flipped so column 1 row 2 is flipped with column 1 row 3, etc.
Everything was going okay until door 18 today. My daughter opened 18 and spent 10 minutes trying to figure out how to build the item. I came over after she, growing more and more frustrated, asked for help. I too couldn't figure out how to build the item behind door 18 only to finally see that the pieces didn't at all match up with the door. Hopefully one of the next doors will contain the correct pieces. Pretty sloppy.
The box came completely broken. I would normally say it was caused in shipping but in this case several of the “dates” for the advent were ripped away and taped back. It looks like a kid ripped all into this then someone tried to tape the calendar back together. Why would you sell this like that? What kid or adult wants an already picked through advent calendar?
My daughter was disappointed on Day 5 when she opened the window where has Rocket's picture but she got a Mantis!! She was hoping it would be Rocket in Mantis' window but she got another Mantis today!! Not happy with the quality control.
The package was completely destroyed upon arrival. It is the second one we've had that is smashed, torn and looks like it's a second hand goodwill item. I will only order from Walmart if I can't find it anywhere else. Too many problems with damaged packaging when you're trying to give a gift. It's really not acceptable.
