This has held up very well the past year despite my toddler's use of it. There are no paint chips,and it cleans easily. It's sturdy,cute,and functional. I also love that i can stack it with another. I may be buying an additional soon.
These bins sell for triple this price at specialty children stores. I was excited to see Walmart selling them for this price. It was super easy to put together and feels very sturdy. Much heavier than I would have thought coming from Walmart, honestly. The color is less of a fire engine red, it is more of a deep red. I think this is a great find! I might purchase more for his toy room in the future! Anyone thinking of buying this will not be disappointed when they get it home.
I bought two of these. Went together great, stack great( even included hardware for stacking), super rugged. I would give it five stars except the finish and corners had slight dings and scratches. These are built great, but finish is not perfect. Good purchase to store tons of stuffed animals!!
I bought 2 of these for my kids Room they were Easy to assemble, they hold way more Toys then I anticipated. The wood is good quality, Shipping was fast . The only Con is the color Red shown in the picture is not the Same the Iteam is a much Darker Matte Red that's why I gave it 4 Stars but other then that I recommend to everyone ..(picture is just to show the color Red it is :) )
I ordered this for my daughters room bc I really liked the idea of the open bins. It arrived ear.y which is a plus and my husband took little time putting it together. The only negative, the screw holes dont come with painted wood pegs but instead white sticker! Honestly for 70 dollars I was upset by this!
I purchased 2 of these units for toy storage. Assembled the first unit easily but the second was more of a challenge as the predrilled holes were not deep enough for the screws. And since the screws had a flat end, I had to locate a pointed end screw to make it work. Not a big deal, in the grand scheme of things, but frustrating at the time.
I bought 6 different pieces of this furniture...4 of the cubby with storage bins and 2 of the cubby with shelf storage and baskets. I was looking at similar furniture from pottery barn, however they were closer to $200 per piece. I'm sure the quality was much much higher, but for something that might get banged up and that my daughter would eventually grow out of, I figured I would save the money and go with something cheaper. Although these were very easy to put together...2 of them had cracks in the wood (which I will try to paint over, because sending them back and getting new ones is too much of a hassle and will cost more money) and 1 of them had a chip bad enough that I couldn't even put it together, so I have to send it back. Also, due to the cheap price, most of the screws are exposed. They have little white stickers that go over the screw heads, but they look worse than the exposed screws. If you are trying to save money, these will do the job, but just understand that you are getting what you pay for.
missing a backside.... There is clearly a piece missing from the one that was sent to me. the cubbies are completely open on the back which defeats the whole purpose. I don't know how to contact the company.
arrived damaged in several ways. paper in the box said to contact them and not to return to the store. I did. I was told they would send me a replacement. after not receiving it I was told it was never ordered. after never receiving it again I was told they were out. tried returning to the store to be told it had been too long so I am stuck with it. aside from the damage some of the holes are defective so I can't even connect pieces.
Do not buy this!!!! It is incredible cheaply made and for the price just spend and extra 60 bucks and buy something that is more stable.
