I needed a decent day pack, this fits the bill well. I have used it in the mountains of Tennessee, Red River Gorge, and even as a pack for extra weight during conditioning training. This pack is made very well for an average pack, but extremely well for such an inexpensive pack. My only complaint is no waist strap, and the left side shoulder strap adjustment length is 3 inches shorter than the right side. I guess they ran short of nylon in china that day... Never the less, great bargain pack, hydration compatible and works great with the camel back bladders. No real complaints here.
I go to college and this bag is just right for my books and my laptop, it is a great buy and I suggest it especially for anyone who goes to college or any school for that matter, even though it's meant for outdoor use I haven't used it for the outdoors so I don't know how good it is outdoors.
Excellent, excellent backpack -- at least as good as The North Face's upscale (and expensive) backpacks. It is well-made, roomy, comfy, durable, ergonomic. I mean, WHAT'S THERE NOT TO LIKE??? What I want to know is: for a pittiful $15.88, how does the manufacturer stay in business? If you are an outdoor enthusiast, hiker, traveler, or student you need to RUN to Wal-Mart and buy this backpack.
I just love this back pack. It is above and beyond what I expected. I am VERY PLEASED... It is a GREAT bargain and for the money you get a lot it's HEAVY DUTY. I recommend it to anyone especially to school children. BETTER Than name brand JANSPORT, NORTHFACE AND OTHERS... I had em all but none like this one. because the expensive brands is all just name you pay for but this one is outstanding from the material to the space and I absolutely LOVE the belted snaps in the front they help keep your backpack on your shoulders and helps avoid having to constantly adjust it to your shoulders especially with those heavy books and it is GREAT for all type of weather.
Excellent value for money.. The main compartment is big enough for a laptop computer with enough room left over to carry plenty of other items.. The smaller compartment is a decent size and has a few inner pockets to organize pens, keys, camera, phone etc.. Has 3 more smaller pockets; 2 on the sides (1 zipped and 1 meshed for a small water bottle) and a wide pocket towards the top.. I found the pocket at the top (with a wide zipper going across) very useful for items which I wanted to pull out quickly instead of rummaging around in the other pockets (Eg; a camera or a map).. I used this bag for a couple of day trips when we were sightseeing in New York.. We did a lot of walking with a decent amount of stuff in the backpack and I hardly felt the weight due to its comfortably padded back and straps.. Even my wife who is petite carried it quite comfortably without any complaints when it weighed almost 10 pounds.. Its easy on and easy off.. Excellent backpack for day trips and hikes.. A VERY good buy!
Need I say more? I don't use it for hiking and the like, but when I'm carrying it miles a day across campus it doesn't strain my shoulders or back too much. The foam inserts on the back are a nice touch. And the option for the attachable liquid 'bladder' made by the same company is a good practice in versatility.
I bought this using the store delivery option. The price was better than expected and the quality of the backpack was better than expected. It is light, functional, roomy, but not too big. It's exactly what I need for going to and from work. I take mass transit and it is a lot handier than a briefcase. It is also a blessing when I have to walk a mile or so to the train when the busses are behaving badly.
I own a backpack and wanted to get one for my wife. Our target use for this backpack was a mix of college and hiking and it totally serves both purpose. The quality of the product seems to be pretty good. Don't let the price fool you. You will get similar product in stores (even in walmart stores) for 5-30 $ more. I looked around in various stores but didn't find a backpack this good for anything less than 30$. There are several pockets, and some of them are huge (I could fit on a coffee mug sideways in one of the outer pockets). The mesh pocket on the side is great for bottles etc. The shoulder padding seems to be good enough.
This backpack is sturdy, and well designed. I love the fact that it is hydration-compatible. I use this pack everyday and it is holding up well. It is comfortable to use, and has the perfect amount of pockets. I would recommend this pack for anyone looking for a well made pack for an economical price. This is the second pack from this brand that I've owned. The first one was a model down from this pack, and lasted me a couple of years of everyday use. So I have high expectations for this new pack.
The Morph backpack has two roomy compartments, one of which is large enough to accommodate most laptop computers and still have room for a middle weight jacket or books. The smaller outside compartment has a key clip and slots for writing instruments. There are two side access pockets for water bottles or such. The back is well padded for comfort. All in all a great value.
