My nephew had a great time playing with this, but it was really easy to knock apart. Maybe if I had glued it once it was put together it would have been better, so we didn't have to reassemble after 2 jousts. Overall fun to play with if you're ready to put it back together after every jousting match.
I didnt realize that MegaBlocks was so inferrior to Legos. Legos snap together and more or less stay that way with basic play. This thing doesnt even stay together while you're building it! We got the bottom parts built and were moving on to putting the tops of the towers together but they kept snapping apart and literally jumping out of place and half way across the room. We decided to just put the bottoms of the towers together and connect the brige across and use that and during the first "joust" it too fell apart. Horrible toy and not even worth a penny!
My son received this as a Christmas gift from relatives. It is nothing like all of his Legos sets that he loves to build. This set was a struggle for the two of us to put together since it kept popping apart. If your child wants to play with it you have to not touch it or hold your breath because it will just fall apart. This is the first Mega Block set that we have and it will be the last. I would return it except we left the boxes with the relatives! Stay away from Mega Blocks and buy Legos!
My 7 year old son received this product for Christmas. It was advertised as a action/dueling type toy which is totalling misleading. The only function of the toy is a model that can't be touched or played with-especially by a young boy. The pieces do not snap together very well and fall apart when touched. I'm 43 years old and had a difficult time getting the toy to stay together. This toy is best described as cheap garbage and is a waste of money.
