I know all soaps are different for different hair types, but this is hands down the best conditioner ( shampoo) ive ever used. it works perfectly with my hair and when i switch shampoo/conditioner daily my hair is super healthy. the product is the exact same, but natural grocers has it for cheaper as well as theirs doesnt leak. BUT, this company has a lifelong shopper
I recently found out I was allergic to fragrance and was struggling to find a conditioner that worked for my curly hair. This product is great! It leaves my hair soft and smooth without weighing it down. I even occasionally use a small amount as a leave-in conditioner. I highly recommend this product!
I love this product because it makes my hair shiny and silky and doesnt cause an allergic reaction to my scalp, neck, and ears.
Love that it's fragrance free and moisturizes my curls. Bonus points, it does not irritate my sensitive skin!
I was skeptical at first about a natural product. I bought this because it has no SLS, or other hormone disrupters. It works as well as my previous Biolage product. My hair is soft and smooth. Although it is "fragrance free "There is a slight smell- eh the smell is ok-maybe aloe like? The smell doesn't stick around in your hair though. I'd rather use this than anything with unnatural scents - who knows what chemicals are used to make those scents!
I've been using this conditioner for a month now since I discovered it online, and I could be more pleased! I have strong allergies to fragrances and many chemicals that cause serious skin dermatitis. My hair has grown long and I had been using Vanicream products only for 20 years - however, the conditioner left my hair so tangled that it took forever to comb out after washing. Searched for a fragance free detangling conditioner and found Desert Essence and so glad I gave it a try --> HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
There is no fragrance. It cleans and rinses well, however, it does not lather well. We usually end up tangling our hair trying to shampoo. It seems that our hair tangles easier daily when dry after using the shampoo. The best part is, that it helps my daughter's scalp Psoriasis better than any over-the-counter shampoo we've used.
I have chemical sensitivities so l wanted to try this brand. It makes my hair so soft and smooth but you need a lot and it still has faint chemical smell.
I was desperately looking for a non-scented conditioner. It is most difficult to find one with the same qualities of scented ones. This conditioner meets all criteria of "designer" hair products.
Honestly, I bought the shampoo and conditioner for my sweetheart, who is battling cancer. Chemicals are NOT good for cancer patients. Usually scents are nothing more than chemicals. It is for that reason that I purchased the product. Well, we both smell chemicals in the product. The ingredients are not the natural stuff, for which we were looking. I don't mean to be harsh, but this did not work for us.
