This camera is a very good upgrade from the discontinued Small one I just replaced. I use it for security cam when auto is parked Does not noticeably drain the battery.
This is about my 4th purchase of a Cobra dashcam. I've only had issues with one that was exchanged. Good quality pictures and videos. Super easy set up and pretty good pricing too.
This camera replaced an older cobra dash cam I had and has delivered beyond expectations! Very happy with my purchase!
This is my first one and I like the size of it. I have right below my rear view mirror and fits perfect. It's got nice color,clarity, I'm happy with it.
I got this dash car to go in a new car because I just wasn't happy with any I have tried. Got the mount a little off, but once it touches glass it is not moving anywhere. Easy to setup and operate. Video quality is excellant, even at night. Unfortuately, within a few hours of putting it in the car someone ran a red light and hit me. The cam caught the whole thing in enough detail to show exactly what happened and marked the video so it was easy to find. Only con, GPS is a separate module that doesn't look like it will fit the 2208. When I contacted Cobra they never responded, so I bought the camera without the GPS. Otherwise would have been five stars if this thing holds up over time.
It is easy to set up and this last one is a bit better than the last that just quit working after about 1.5 years
Pretty good quality, but, you probably never would be able to figure out licence plates on the car, which was right in front of you. And so on. As I indicated in title - nothing changed in last 5 or 10 years. Back then (10 years ago) it could be considered to be great
Bought 2 of them and both didn't work
I had this installed less than an hour and kept getting a “reinsert SD card” message. Doesn’t matter how many times I do this, the camera will still not work. Also, it’s suppose to come with a suction cup window mount, instead came with an adhesive windows mount, so if I want to move this to one of my other vehicles, I can’t. It was only after my SD card issue I reviewed the critiques online and found this is a common problem with this model.
