I purchased this a couple of weeks ago - have 2 very hairy cats - did a great job - small, easy to control (not like the bigger heavy units), impressed with the dirt It pulled up. Larger machine results in a "smaller package"
my wife insisted on the purchase of the 47b2 powerbrush. when it arrived, I thought it was almost a toy. I tried it out on some old through rugs and was amazed at the results. It did take a while to realize that only a small amount of cleaning solution was necessary. The secret was pulling the water out of the carpet. The rugs dried overnight. I will be ordering some parts which I want to have in hand for the future. I will recommend this beauty!!

I only needed a small rug cleaner because I only have two low pile area rugs. I am also over 60 and somewhat disabled so I did not want a large powerful machine. This machine is small and easy to handle, but does a really nice job of cleaning. I did take very slow paths, which I think helped. I would not recommend this machine to anyone with a lot of carpet with deep pile. But for low pile and small areas it is perfect!
I bought this because a friend had it and liked it. And it is well worth the small amount they are being sold for. It is small/portable and does a job as well as it's full sized big brother. Now we just have to wait and see how long it lasts as Walmart didn't offer an extended warrantee.
I have to say after being the owner of a competitors carpet cleaner that did not work out for us, I was reluctant at first to take a chance on this Bissell Power Brush cleaner. My fears that we were just going to buy another pig in a poke were resolved when I saw the great cleaning job job that this machine did. I'm very impressed with the results from this easy to handle little machine, so far as it did what we wanted for sure.
This is a must have for pet owners with freshly stained carpet. My carpet is two years old and I had been spot cleaning until now; Bissell was not quite ready for that type of deep cleaning. However, it did freshen the carpet and It put vacuum lines In it. So to shorten my review, buy it for new stains but don't expect a miracle with old ones.
My children have a toy lawn mower that is the same size. It wets carpets, but so can a bucket of water. The effect of the scrub brush is nonexistent and the suction power leaves carpets soaked. Remember this: a LIGHT cleaning machine still lets water flow DEEP into carpets. All the light clean description means is that the suction will only bring up water from the visible surface of the carpet and not below the surface where it is pooling! Fair thee well oh enlightened consumer!
No user guide in box and the spray trigger handle worked when it wanted too. So sometimes you got a little water or nothing at all, definatley thinking it was repackaged going back to store.
