My grandson found your Mandolin on line and brought it to my attention. We knew about Kona guitars. He plays guitar and bass and the harmonica. The price was hard to believe but I thought I would take a chance and order it for him. When it quickly arrived we were simply amazed. It is well made and the sound is great. With some books and picks he is playing it and loving it. I strongly recommend this beautifully made Kona instrument for a beginning player. You will be surprised at how well it is made and the great sound that comes from it.
Arrived with a screw missing, but an easy 2 minute fix. The unit seems well enough made, sound is good and overall looks like decent quality. Unfortunately, it should be made in the USA and is not, like most things, quality would be much better if is was. Recommend overall.
