Works well in my 06 Ford 6.0L. Easy, quiet starts and protection when it heats up.
I got this oil on recommendation of a fellow member at lost jeeps forum before this i was using shell rotella T6 5W40 great oil with good level of zinc but i did not like the way my jeep started in winters, so i switched to this oil it is amazing transformation. For some reason the jeep loves this oil starts way better and runs super quiet once it gets to operating temp. I love the sound of turbo spooling as i could hear it over the engine which was not there. I will have a UOA soon to report back with more details.
My mileage went up several mpg's over the course of a few hundred mile just by going to the synthetic oil. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great diesel oil and people that want to push their oil changes out and get more miles per oil change
I was looking for 5w 40 synthetic specifically and at a good price -- a combo tough to find. Hard to beat Walmart on motor oil. Did a Hooked on Driving track day on the turbo FRS. The oil still looks new! Seemed to outperform the other name brand oil I had been using. Recommended.
I have been using this oil for several years and I have always been satisfied with the performance. Walmart has consistently provided it a cost that ensures an excellent value.
This oil improves my fuel mileage. It also has a longer mileage life span when the engine is driven properly. Chevron Delo full synthetic improves the Cummins performance.. All other synthetic oils under perform especially in elevation climbs. I know Mobile One Delvac is a great oil but for the difference in Mobile Ones higher price I prefer the Chevron. I have used Chevron full synthetic since 2017. in all my Cummins.
I've been using this oil in my 2005 Jeep Liberty diesel since I got it about 20,000 miles ago. It's tough to know if an oil is doing what it's supposed to when your engine doesn't lunch itself or you don't 'send samples out for analysis, but the Jeep seems to really like this stuff! The engine starts fine in the coldest temperatures we get here in Maryland (~10F at the coldest) and it runs smoothly and quietly right away. I change the oil every 5000 miles and it comes out as black as paint so it's doing its job of absorbing ash and dirt for sure. Between 5000 OCI's I typically add about 1.5 qts so resistance to burn-off is pretty good. Over-all, this is an excellent diesel synthetic at an outstanding price! I'll keep using it!
This is great oil for modern diesel engines with lots of emissions equipment on board. I've been getting regular testing done on the oil of my vehicles for years and the Chevron Delo products have all been great. This is a good product at a great price.
Hard to find this oil in any of the stores so searched online. Better price and quicker delivery than Amazon, very pleased with the inventory, price and quick delivery from Walmart.
Walmart always take care of excellent low prices, the delivery takes a bit of time but it is worthy.
