A little tight around my thigh, but that was alright when you consider not a drop of water got to my bandages that the surgeon said had to remain absolutely dry.
I had an operation on my left foot and had to keep my foot and the bandage on it perfectly dry. This worked. I was hesitant to use it but I broke it out one morning and hopped into the shower and showered as I normally do and let water get all over it. I took it off (expecting something to be wet) but everything was dry. The only drawback was it gets really puffy and steamy (not enough to get anything wet though) inside the bag while you are showering. Great product.
At last I could take a shower after having a cast on my leg for a week. At first it was a bit awkward to put on but now it's okay. Wonderful to stop washing at a sink.
It was exactly what I ordered. My only complaint is it took too long for delivery. I had had surgery on my foot and needed it badly. I have ordered many items from Walmart and usually they arrive before they r supposed to, even during the holidays. I love Walmart and I realize the shipping is kind of out of your control. I tell all my friends that Walmart is the only place to shop!
When I opened the box I thought 'no way this will fit around my half leg cast'. I expected it to not fit and when it did go around the heel I thought the flex seal thing was going to rip but it didn't. I've used this several times and it still works great. No water gets in, just condensation. My legs are fat and my cast is extra large. I recommend it.
I had foot surgery and this has done a great job of keeping water off my foot while showering. Have not bathed only showered, but based on how it works, I think it would work well being submerged. I would think it may be hard to fit a cast inside the small opening, but overall it looks durable and has done as advertised. Keeps water out.
I purchased the wound protector to allow me to shower while wearing a cast for 6 weeks. This protector kept my cast dry and was fairly easy to slip on. There is a rubber seal at the top which fits snuggly on my leg. The leg portion has plenty of room. I am 6' tall and it fits right below my knee. To remove, I use put my fingers under the rubber protector and glide it off. I then hang it to dry.
The protector worked well though I found the seal to be really tight on my leg. I know it has to seal but this was painfully tight. But for the brief time I had it in for a shower it worked great.
Used it twice and took it on vacation with us for my husband to use for his cast. After the second use it developed a small tear near the bottom which we put duct tape on been fine ever since, other than that it works great.
This has a hole about the size of a half dollar that stretch open but it does not go over wider casts and fits like a tourniquet on the skin
