Good product for that extra shelving I needed without going to a lot of expense and having to resort to a heavy bookcase that probably wouldn't fit the way I wanted. Would work great for many storage solutions in all parts of the house.
After finding out about C & C cages I found this set for the best price. I bought 2 and made my cage. I was going to buy more, but the price sky rocketed. Very good value at the time.
I purchased this product to create a fencing around my entertainment center and Christmas tree to deter our cats and rabbit from getting into these areas and away from the cords. I understand this is not the conventional or intended use for this product but it worked great for what I needed.
Very handy for storage. You can see quickly just what you are looking for. The solution to the cubes being wobbly is to be sure to recheck the previous joints as you add new pieces. Make sure that each side is fully into the connector when you are all done. They come out very sturdy that way. The first time you assemble them, they are a little hard to get in, but it makes them nice and tight. The cubes will hold items that are pretty heavy, although I'd put heavier items at the bottom, just for safety and stability. You can dress them up with colored storage bins if you like. You can also be creative and design your own shapes. I have two sets, and made 3 X 4 cubes, using the two extra sides and a few plastic connectors to divide two of the cubes in half. The cubes are easy to take apart for a move.
The corners do poke out, which allows for 2 sets of cubs to be linked together (if I needed that). This is located just inside my front door. Each of my family has a cube for their shoes. works fine for my shoes and my kids, not so much for boots.
Using for guinea pig cages, the size differences are not great as its not described in the ad but we made it work. We just used zip ties not the connectors
I bought this to build a playpen for my bunnies...I underestimated the amouth of crates I would need.I bought 5 packs..only used 4 and still the pen is too big I will remodel it soon.I love it except you will need to solidify the pen/cage because with just the plastics the crates kept falling down as soon as my rabitts would climb on top.
Yes This is what i needed, the only problem was that i ordered a black set and they sent me silver, also they were to different size's in the space. I was making a rabbit cadge.
I wish I knew that I can't keep anything heavier than one dinner plate on it. It's too weak and falls apart. I have now been using it with extra wire support to hold it together and also lying it flat horizontally instead of standing it up.
This storage unit is very flimsy. Wires are very thin. I put four pairs of jeans in one of the units and it bowed. I have another brand that is no longer in production and it has no problem holding double that amount. If you aren't putting anything heavy in each unit, it will be fine. Be prepared for it to bow if you put anything heavy in it.
