I paid a little more than I wanted to when I purchased this elliptical but after the reviews I'd read on other machines I figured it was worth a try. (cheaper machines weren't rating so well) However I have to say this elliptical has been absolutely wonderful. Its insanely quiet and works perfectly. My order arrived in a timely manner and the assembly wasn't bad. All of the pieces (screws etc.) came packaged and labeled, rather than trying to find them or dig them out of plastic baggies. If your looking for a quiet yet challenging workout I highly recommend this elliptical. Its worth the extra dollars!!
After having this for several months, I have decided that it was worth the money. I have, however, already had to unscrew some of the parts to re-tighten the bolts because they come loose with use!?! I thought maybe it was an assembly error but I've had to do it more than once. But overall, it's not loud and it seems to ride pretty smoothly and I've had no major problems with it. Final consensus is that it's worth the money.
