This is an awesome product for organizing your shoes!!!
LIGHT BUILT, NOT BOOK STAND, SMALL ITEMS ONLY
This shelf is good for spare boxes of tissues, light bulbs, sponges. It looks modern and blends well with its light wood and metal racks. It didn't quite go together as easily as described and the final end isn't fully secure. I wouldn't put over a couple of pounds on each shelf and flat items seem best that won't catch in the wire racks. It sits OK against a wall and doesn't stick out. I won't move it far without unloading it.
This is a nice shelving unit, but I really wish the sides were made of a stronger or thicker piece of wood. It stands by itself ok, just seems a little weaker than I expected, and I would not feel comfortable storing anything heavy on it.
No instructions came with it on how to put it together nor stating that I needed glue to put the frames together. One of the wooden frame pieces was broken so I had to get super glue to put it back together. As for the metal shelving, I had to use pliers to adjust to fit into the holes.
VERY cheaply made, as soon as I started putting the shelves in, the screws popped out of the wood and they broke off. It's not durable at all.
I was very unsatisfied with this product. It is a not good quality product. It is not steady and the wood looks very light and has a poor look . Actually, the picture of it on the box looks much better with a darker wood color. That's why I bought it, I thought it was as if the picture was showing at Walmart.com. In addition, it comes with white plastic shelf supports that show and make it looks very ugly. I am returning this item.
