While this fuse holder may be intended for and more often used in automotive applications, I used the holder to fuse a 12 volt DC power feed to a lighting rig. Very good quality, well built.
My husband is the handyman around our house, so I gave the "Bussmann Series 12 Gauge Inline Fuse Holder for ATC/ATO Style Fuses" to him for his use. He did tell me that it worked perfect for what he needed it for. The only thing that he did mention that would've made a difference is if it came with a fuse. But was still happy with the overall performance, and would recommend it.
Works no issues uses bigger fatter fuses. Had fuse laying around so i cheeped out used this and tied it in for toggle switch.
This Bussmann ATC fuse holder with #12 lead wire is exactly what I was looking for and needed. I used it when I was installing a small winch to my buggy. This fuse holder gives me the ability to use it with many different devices, you just have to be cautious on the fuse you are using. It's very simple to install, it's a quick and easy straightforward process, all you need is a fuse to protect your device. It works as intended and I have not had any problems with it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is interested in getting a good quality fuse holder.
This product is great if you are wanting to add something to your vehicle by putting this to your hot wire. I got this for my 2002 Ford Ranger and it works flawlessly great product great name brand product I would highly recommend this to anybody if they're wanting to add something extra to their vehicle.
I needed a fuse for my amp and this works perfectly. Simple to install and the gaige of wire was just right for my smaller amp. I'm not mounting it due to the location so I just needed something small and easier to hide and this fits my needs perfectly. If you need a small fuse holder this should work perfectly for you. It is simple to install just use a wire nut put it in line with your amplifier and you should be good to go. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a small fuse holder.
I got this to install an aftermarket radio in my truck. I've used several over the years, but I have to say this is the best I've used by far. It's got 12 gauge wire, so it can handle up to a 30 amp fuse to handle most every job you can imagine with vehicle wiring. It uses the large size fuses, and they are sold most everywhere, so that shouldn't be an issue. This is a fuse holding link that does it's job well, and if you're needing to hook up a stereo or CB radio, this will more than do the job.
bought it and went later to an auto part store, found the same brand but a model that says that is splash proof for outdoor connections so depending what you need just be aware theres 2 versions, they look pretty much the same though
Works perfect for what I needed it for! But was hoping a fuse came with it! No worries I am please with my item! Quality seems great I will be buying the same brand again!
My husband says this is useful for different things. He did mention it being mostly useful for vehicles with installing radios etc. He did note it was slightly bent before using it and he's pretty sure he would have burnt it out of he attached it to any kind of electricity so he fixed it before it needed to be used. Other than it being bent it worked fine.
