The filter works well and is a good value. Was trimmed down to fit which is a good thing as too small is not good. Weatherstripping is an added plus.
I needed an unrestrictive air filter for the motorcycle,I used three layers, it worked, it removed most of the dust, & the sand refused to go through. I used in my son's house air-conditiioner in Jacksonville, it was easy to wash, removed most of the dust, & it protected the air- conditioner from any dust that passed through cheap unrestrictive filter. So then I bought a Dynomite 2 Dirt Devil Vacuum Cleaner from Walmart, it was not good like the last one that I had, This one overheated, as the original filter plugged up, it didn't vacuum very good. I cut 10 of 4.5 inch disks from the window A/C filter material. to replace the original filter. It now keeps the motor cooler because of more air flow, I did not see any dust coming out, even where the sun shines through window, the vacuum has better suction, & to take out the ten disks, to knock them on the railing outside, makes it easy to clean, & it holds enough dust. I have learned the qualities of this material, in the trailer park, where I once lived, there were many window air-conditioners. It is an amazingly unrestrictive filter material that removes nearly all the dust..
