I have used this laundry detergent for a while now and love it, especially the price, but now I can't find it in stores or online. I love the fragrance and my clothes came out clean. Finally found something that works and Walmart gets rid of it. Please bring it back.
This product is as effective as Gain but much cheaper.
this and all great value detergents are made by the people that make wisk and all detergents also know as sun products cooperation they also make the kroger food lion meiger and other store brans as well as name brands such as all surf sun wisk snuggle
I used this a few weeks ago for the first time and was pleasantly surprised with how well this worked. Before buying it I was a little nervous about trying Great Value, but the fragrance was great and my clothes came out clean. I'll definitely try some other Great Value Laundry Detergents!
The only thing good I can attest to about this formula is the value for it's size, and that it may be ok for light laundry use (in other words, clothes that aren't very dirty to begin with). Otherwise, for heavy duty jobs or work clothes, I definitely WOULD NOT recommend. I have used GV products in the past and they seemed to work quite well. This particular formula does not seem to get our clothes clean, yet the modernized box says it's more concentrated and you can use less. That is simply not true. We are having to use MORE to get our dirty clothes clean, esp my husband's work uniforms. The old GV formula worked just fine. Something has definitely changed. I've noticed that most all brands have now gone to this more modernized formula marketing, promising less for more. My advice is to be careful with that promotion. Like I said, for light use, this may be ok, but for heavy duty usage, it simply does not get the job done.
I buy Great Value products all the time. I bought this detergent because it was on the Good Houskeeping's top-rated laundry detergent list. The price was good, but the results were disastrous. When I washed a load of dark colors, anything black or navy was faded horribly. All the lighter things were fine. I returned the unused product to the store and went back to All. I've been doing laundry for a long time and never had any detergent do what this one did. If you own nothing that's black or navy, you're good. Otherwise, steer clear of this product.
