This is the way I should have been buying oil all along. I won't be buying a large amount of oil any other way. It comes kind of like a box of wine (ha), the box is cardboard and has convienent punch out handles on sides. There is also a spout, so you can simply turn it to instantly stop the flow of oil, therefore preventing messy spills or mishaps. I found the large clear bag that holds the oil inside of the box to be very helpful as I could easily see how much I had left to go and also found it handy to keep the flow of oil quick and steady by being able to easily squeeze the bag as it drew closer to being empty. Overall I feel like this is a great buy and the product was very effective in easing the strain on my body as I changed the oil in my commercial bucket truck.
I got the great oil I like at a great price. Using a bag to hold the oil versus 3 containers helped cut down plastic. My truck uses 10 quarts. Would have preferred having a 2.5 gallon versus 3 gallon because estimating half gallon as I put oil in my truck was not convenient.
The add shows it coming in jugs (as I show in the picture) but it really comes in clear plastic bags. Makes it extremely difficult to pour and measure out exact amounts. Also if your anything like me you pour your old dirty oil into your jugs and turn them into the auto parts store. Well since this is bags you can do that.
I'm used to buying a box with 3 individual 1 gallon jugs inside. So to open the box and it be a single 3 gallon plastic sack really throws me off. Perhaps I should have read more closely, but the photos on the website clearly show jugs of oil. It's only if you look closely that it says “ecobox bag”. I change oil in our semi trucks, our Cat engines take 10 gallons, Cummins take 11. I don't have time to transfer oil so to measure out the gallons in these sacks.
When I ordered this, the picture shows 3 separate gallons of oil, what arrives is a bag... yes a bag of oil in a box.... now when I do my oil change this is not going to be fun. Stupid to put oil in a bag.... Going forward I will go in and be sure I get my oil by the gallon actual container... Don't show one thing and then send something else!
What a handling nightmare! Make sure you have a clean empty oil container to transfer into. It comes in 3 gal instead of a 2-1/2 because you'll lose a lot on the ground. It's a fair bet the marketing executive who came up with this idea has never changed his own oil! This is not an ECO solution.
Thought I was buying 3 gallon jugs of oil not a wine box of oil , who in the heck in their right mind thought about putting oil in a wine bag and thinking it was a good idea when trying to add oil in a engine and hold up 3 gallon plastic bag and guessing how much you put in ! Change picture on website very misleading
Expected to receive 3 separate gallon jugs of the oil; based on a couple of the pictures included with the item description. Who would think... 3-gallon plastic bag in a box. But Rotella T is good oil. Hopefully won't waste any trying to dispense from a floppy bag. 😒
The oil came in supposedly 3 gallon plastic bags in a box with spigot. Measuring into normal rotella 15w40 plastic containers, the oil was short almost 1 gallon out of 4 3 gallon plastic bags
The oil didn't arrive in 3 1-gallon jugs, instead it came in a bag with a spout. It was a damaged return that was accidentally shipped to me.
