This was a real cute product didn't take long to put together,perfect for a toddler.she loves it we bungie corded the lid to keep cats,and rain out its doing the job,200lbs of sand is perfect,go to lowes or a place like that its cheap,does the job perfect.
It took about 40 minutes to put together as I had to use a standard screwdriver. It is perfect size for small children. Well worth the money. It looks so nice sitting in the backyard - not an eye sore! Highly recommend it. It does hold 200 # of sand.
My daughter got this for her first birthday and I wondered if she was too little for it. She plays in it all the time! Back in March we had an ice storm and she bundled up in coat and gloves so she could play in it. We also have cats and with the lid it has not been an issue. Going to be THREE in June and she's still crazy about this toy.
This sandbox is perfect with the attached picnic table and umbrella for sun protection. The lid is a little flimsy for the value, but serves the purpose just fine. The assembly was so easy, I didn't need the instructions. I would definately recommend this to a friend.
The Great-grand-daughters love it and enjoying playing in it every time they come to visit.
EASY assembly and the kids absolutely love it. It's great because it has an umbrella to keep out the sun while they are sitting there playing and/or resting and the box has a lid to keep the sand safe. When you put the maximum amount of sand in, there is still plenty room to store toys in the box.
purchased this for our 3 yr. old birthday. BEST GIFT EVER!! she luvs that she can eat outside now at her very own table. Big enough for about 3 kids to play in sand. Site to Store was great and fast! love it!
Bought this sandbox for my youngest sons 2nd Birthday. He loves it. Him and my oldest son, who is 5, play in it everyday. we had to buy additional sand toys to go in it and we put 200 lbs of sand in it and still have plenty playing room. The only problem i have is the lid does not stay on very well. It was very windy the other day and the lid blew right off. We have to keep something heavy on it to keep it from blowing off.
We have a 4 year old and an 18 month old, and they both love playing together in the sandbox, and the 4 year old loves the bench for eating snacks. The only problem is the lid for the sandbox part. It is way too flimsy and isn't made to attach in any way. It just sits lightly on top of the opening. The slightest wind will blow it off.
I'd give it a higher review but it's a piece of molded plastic that costs $160. It probably costs $5 to manufacture. I guess it's large so that adds to shipping cost. As far as the product itself goes, its good. The lid to keep cats and whatnot from pooping in it doesn't lock down so a gust of wind can remove it. It's easy to assemble and weighs almost nothing when it's without sand.
