Great for younger children!

First of all, not sure why the website has this listed for over $300. The store carries them for $169 all the time. Great deal. Having said that, I would not spend more than what I paid on this particular slide. I have a 6 year old daughter who weighs in at around 45lbs. This slide is the absolute bomb for her! She loves it!!! My son is 11, and is of average wieght and he is too big for it. I believe the box rated it for 150lbs total and each user should not exceed 100lbs. Set up took about an hour by the time you laid it out, staked it down and got the water flowing. I would suggest purchasing some metal tent stakes to hold it down. All but two of the stakes that came with the slide broke while hammering them in the (not hard) ground! We have had the slide set up for about a week and it gets used every single day. I am thinking about puchasing the water recycler because you have to keep the hose going while it's being used and it wastes a lot of water and never warms up! It's a drag that the pool section drains out each time you turn the blower off too. Anyway, long story short, great buy for the little ones!

This thing is pefect for about 3 to 10 year olds. The best part is the kids don't have to get out of the pool area to get on the slide (less grass in the water). My kids have enjoyed this all summer and I've had no issues. The biggest key after reading some reviews on these kind of slides...... Take care of it by letting it dry out before storing it away. It's really pretty simple. Side note: I weigh 180 lbs. and went down the slide a couple times, probably not recommended but it still held up. :)

I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old and they love this slide. It is the perfect size for them and for me to put up quick and easy. It is smaller but that is why I picked it. I figured it was perfect for us because the kids are younger. They get the same thrill for less money. My kids have been on the typhoon slide as well and enjoyed that just the same as this one. If you're deciding between the two, the typhoon is great for older kids and this one is just perfect for younger kids.

This slide and pool was quick and easy to assemble and my 3 and 5 year old children are loving it! They have played on it for 3 days in a row and it airs up in seconds. The product is sturdy and I expect that it will last all summer! I definitely recommend this product!!

Great for my grandkids

My grandchildren are 5,3,21 months. This is best thing I have bought for the children to play. Even the 21 month old has mastered climbing her way to top of slide. Takes only 10 minutes to inflate & get the water started. When you deflate the water runs out there is some remaining to help along but not much. I then blow it back up let it air dry for about an hour or two, then roll it up and put away. It does absorb some water around edges and if you leave it up a long time needs longer to air. But we love it, best think I have bought

Three great things about this slide: 1) All 3 of my kids (3,5,and7 y/o) can use it together safely, 2) The slide, pool and ladder are all connected - so there is no need to step out of the pool. 3) It fits well in a small backyard. The only downside is that when you want to take a break during the day and stop the motor, the slide and the pool deflates resulting in A LOT of water drainage. It is not that big of a problem for me, because my grass died this past winter. Although, it does get sloppy (I put tarp under the slide/pool). Wish I would have bought it last summer even when we had healthy grass! The kids LOVE it!

First off, the kids had so much fun I was amazed. We bought this for my sons 6th birthday party. My wife planned a themed party but we might as well have saved our efforts since this water slide took over the party. On a fun index, it was a 10!!!! Now speaking as a parent few toys are worth $350 and we will need to use it a lot this summer to justify the purchase price. The quality is good and my only complaint is that the water sprayer wouldn't shoot straight. It sounds picky, but when the water sprays outside the pool the slide doesn't stay slippery and the kids notice. It is difficult to adjust the stream once inflated and with impatient kids at hand it was nearly impossible. I am sure this can be overcome next time I assemble I should be able to correctly adjust the direction better. I do reccomend this product and if you happen to purchase one, get in as much use as possible this summer as these types of products tend to dryrot within a few years. Happy sliding!!!!

I just ordered this for my daughter for her up coming 6th birthday party. We had another Banzai Water slide that we used for the last 4 years. Last summer we had to put it to rest. LOL! We put the new slide up to make sure nothing was wrong with it before her birthday and she played on it with a friend for 5 hours. I had to make them get out. At first I was sad because we couldnt find one like our old one and was kind of worried this one would not be as big due to what everyone keeps saying about the size. However it is everything we could of hoped for and more. I just hope it will last as long as the other.

We love the Banzai water slide, its big enough for adults to play on also. The pool at the bottom of the slide is so big it gives the kids enough room to play as other kids are sliding down. The two water sprayers are awesome and they spray great distance. All in all its a great buy for my family.

Fun for kids, High maintenance for adults

The neighborhood children & ours really love this slide (we have a very similar model, the Banzai Splash & Curve). My only qualms with this product lie in what to do with the uninflated slide at our residence when it's not being used. The product maintenance & care instructions state not to leave it out in the sun between uses, but also not to store it away when wet. By my experience with the slide, those recommendations seem to contradict each other, unless you've got a huge, empty garage or storage shed in which to lay it out flat to dry. For example, how can you dry it out if you don't leave it in the sun? And you can't put it away when it's still wet. Lots of water gets trapped inside of the slide, so it stays wet on the inside long after it's dry on the outside. There are only two methods I can think of using to get the water out: 1) Wait for the internal water to evaporate, which requires leaving the slide out in the sun, which the manufacturer doesn't recommend. or 2) Get the assistance of several strong people to pick up the slide and tilt it so all the internal water flow is aiming in the direction of the 5" diameter airhole opening in the back. Tricky when the water is inside and you can't see exactly where it is. It would be best to have an indoor, well-ventilated place to store the slide flat when not in use, not only to let it air out to prevent mold/mildew, but also to keep it out of the sun (our slide is bleached already) and the elements (ours is filthy with bugs, grass, leaves, dirt...even though we live in a very clean place). It's very difficult to clean the slide because there is nowhere for debris to run off where it still doesn't end up somewhere on the slide. Also, operating the water slide requires a constant flow of water. An improvement upon this product (for the benefit of those who still want to purchase it) would be a recirculating pump which takes water from the pool back up through the tubes. This would save many, many gallons of water, and result in a much lower water bill than we've experienced. In conclusion, if you want to enjoy your summer with your kids, I recommend leaving the hard work involved in big-league water play to the professionals: Get a season pass at a water park, or go to the community pool.
