I had the previous J7 from last year, the user interface & new features the J7 perx has I likey A LOT!! updated security features & android/google pay a MUST HAVE if you need a pay app. you can choose who gets your SOS messages. the sound can be better, Im not sure if it's the headphones or ear buds Im using, but I am very satisfied with my new handset. would highly recommend if you prefer the larger 5.5 screen size & can take group selfies. the amoled HD screen much better than last year's J7.
Great phone, lots of speed and Mondo battery life! Do miss notification for missed calls and messages, only drawback. Not really missing my S5 anymore!
My first smart phone. Has many great features. Camera works well and display is clear. It has a super fast processor. I am pleased with this product and hope enjoy it for years to come. Sd card expandable memory is a big plus. Calls are very clear and reception is great. Overall a great product!

Overall great phone, reliable, fast, great built in features like a one touch optimizer, and speaker on the side instead of the back. Best battery life of any smart phone I've ever owned. Reasons for nor giving 5 stars are all minor, but very annoying Can change screen off times in settings, but no matter what you set it to, from the lock screen you only have couple seconds from button press to swipe up (annoying with kids/ cats around Absolutely hate the keyboard, Swype function is worse than the auto correct, and delete key has a delay that will make you want to pull your hair out. Like I said, minor things, but very annoying
Where is the user manual? This product is difficult to evaluate because I don't know how to operate it.
This phone is easy to use. There is some lag at times, not sure why, but overall this phone is great
Before I even received the phone, Wal-Mart botched it's handling of the crucial steps needed to register the phone with my carrier. Lost a day there as my wife did the customer service boogie to get it fixed. Two days later, my phone developed serious operating system issues. It is now headed to Samsung Repair's Dept. I will be out of phone service for 10 to 14 days. No warm and fizzled here.
Recieved the phone only to find out it was reported stolen.Someone in the shipping dept either didn't do their job right or my pd phone got swapped out for one in the inventory.very disappointed.
I had to return the phone because the sim card was locked and carrier could not activate. Bought same phone from another retailer, and had the same issue. However, I had a more competent rep this time. Took about an hour for carrier to unlock phone and I was in business. Phone it's self I give 5 stars. Had one before and it was stolen. Great Samsung for a fraction of the galaxy price. 1 star for the fact that I had to return the phone because Wal-Mart left the sum card locked.
