I have used them to cut quilting materials as well as heavy duty rubber with no issues at all. I'm sure they would be great for leather or industrial applications. Very versatile and strong. Would definitely recommend.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pair of trimmers are a must have if you are a crafter. I make a lot of wreaths and cutting through mesh and fabrics is a challenge. With these trimmers I am able to make one clean cut every time. They do have a little weight to them but they are so easy to hold and use. These trimmers are definitely heavy duty and are made to last a long time. The blades are very sharp and can easily cut through leather, rubber, upholstery and fabric. This is such an amazing product and I highly recommend them.

These are big, sturdy, and sharp and the look and feel like they will last just as long! It took a minute for her to get used to them because they are bigger and a little heavier, but she really seems to like them.

The groove - thumb rest helps to keep my hand in the correct position as not to pinch my thumb or cause distress. This helps with getting the most accurate cut as possible with out fraying, tearing or damaging the fabric. You won't be getting bent out of shape with uneven cuts with these trimmers. The blade is precision sharp and you will glide through any project. I have found these work well with thick material such as leather, corduroy, burlap and cutting multiple stacked patterns. These are not everyday use scissors and should be treated as such. Very pleased .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gingher 10" Knife Edge Bent Trimmers are shiny chrome metal. The trimmers out of the box are very sharp. The two sides are attached by a slot head metal screw for easy break down for sharpening. The trimmers are heavy but well balanced so the weight doesnt affect you while cutting and allows the trimmers to glide through whatever you are cutting. Well made product.
