If you love homemade cheddar scalloped potatoes, you will LOVE these. They taste just like the ones that I make from scratch. I've tried different premade scalloped potatoes by different brands and they're generally not very good; however, Bob Evans outshines on all competitor scalloped potato side dishes with this product. My husband travels a lot for work so it's just my son and I half of the year. With work, school activities and household chores all on me during that time, I look for things that are quick to make during the week for dinner. These took about 4 or 5 minutes to cook in the microwave. They've already been baked in an oven so there's no fuss. The package fed my son and I for two meals along with a Hormel meatloaf. A great meal and deal!
The scalloped potato meal has a good cheesy flavor. My only complaint is that the potatoes remained crunchy (raw like) after microwaving them for the recommended time.
