I didn't want parking assist lines just wanted a quick glimpse behind me before I started backing up. I drive a cargo van and it has some blind spots back there, well used to have blinds spots. If you don't want the lines or the reverse image(for front of vehicle mounting) just cut the wire loops at the connection, pretty easy. It came with everything for easy install, using my radio as monitor. Very happy with the results would buy again!
