I have been wanting to get a tank printer for a while, but found them to be a little expensive. Glad I found this one for $149. It works like a charm, and i love the convenience of having to deal with disposable cartridges anymore.
I like my HP printer, which is still in excellent condition. However, I print a lot of papers, so I run out of ink quickly. I got tired of having to purchase a HP ink cartridge every month or so, so I decided to cut my loss and invest in a Canon. Since I've gotten this Canon, I've noticed that I can print the same amount with the Canon as I did with the HP and still have so much ink leftover. I'll be saving so much more money on ink in the long run.
This is my first canon (inkjet) printer. It prints great and is fast, the paper feeder holds great many pages that usual desktop home office printers. I miss the automatic document feeder feature in this model for scans, which is extremely useful for quick and convenient scans. This printer has eco tank ink delivery system, which is ecologically great! I have to fully experience how the ink refills work and the recycles to appreciate the design more. I have always used HP printers in the last 15 years; they are great printers too. Still have the current one as a standby and utilize its auto document feeder for scans.
I love how much ink it comes with! Prints hundreds of color pages and even prints photos beautifully!! Highly recommend!!
Works great as replacement for another brand we've had for several years. Was glad to find a reservoir ink printer at a great price as I was sick of paying for iffy ink cartridges.
It is a color printer with larger ink tanks was easy to set up and it was substantially less than others in the white color. I've used Canon printers for two decades and they last longer and perform well.
I don't like that it doesn't do doublesided printing. It is slow. It has a small footprint, but the paper is loaded in the back, and that takes up some space. And the controls are tiny and hard to read. However, the price reflects some of that. The last Canon I had conked out when after 3 years, it refused to eject the black ink cartridge. I had previously purchased a mega-tank Epson and had to trash it because the ink heads clogged and wouldn't come unclogged. But I thought I would take my chances with this one because of the price.
its a little bit tricky for set up if not familiar with cannon products . other than that preform well and holds lots of paper . it makes beautiful photos and enlarge greatly
This was difficult to impossible to connect to wifi. the site for the product download failed to complete download and threatened that if I tried again it would void my warranty. I called the number and the cust. serv. rep. was hard to understand, he asked me to remotely control my computer, and I wish I would have said no. He then tried to tell me that I couldn't download my computer unless I BOUGHT a subsciption from Anydesk for a virus protection, cause I had a trojan on my computer preventing the printer installation, and this time I said NO and got off the phone with him. I did hook up my printer without any problem but felt like I almost was frauded into a virus protection sale. MY computer is working perfectly and I did not need this!
