I ABSOLUTELY LOVE love love my Instant pot!! When a friend of mine told me to purchase one last year, I told her "I don't need another appliance to take up space in my kitchen". She assured me that if I bought one, it would quickly replace EVERY other counter appliance I have. She was RIGHT! I use it almost every day and never stop being impressed with the variety of functions and AWESOME meals that come from it! If the food results aren't enough-when my Instant Pot suddenly stopped working recently- I contacted Customer Service and they quickly replaced her!! WOW! Not only wold I buy her again, I have convinced many friends to purchase AND have bought 4 other Instant Pots as gifts!! LOVE it and can NOT live without her!!
I've been an Instant Pot fan for close to five years. It has truly changed the way I cook, and changed what I cook on weeknights. It does rice better than the rice maker we used to own did. Aside from yogurt (which I love making in the Instant Pot) I don't use any of the present functions -- I just use times from online. My favorite uses are for tamales (I use the Instant Pot to cook the chicken, beef, and pork, then use it steam the assembled tamales), corned beef, steel cut oats, applesauce, carnitas, beans, and soup/stew. Also, when I had a mechanical issue, the company responded immediately and fixed the problem right away.
I've had instant pot for 3 yrs. I use it almost every time I cook. Soup, ham, corn on the cob (steam),potatoes, steamed veggies, boiled eggs. Boiled chicken. I also now love the instant pot company. After 3 yrs the pressure element went out. They sent me a whole new instant pot free!!! And it was a bigger better one than what I had. Never expected that. Great company!!!! Don't but any other brand.
I don't know how I raised a family without an Instant Pot. Where had it been all my life? I use it for cooking rice, potatoes, pasta, soups, stir frys...you name it! Set it and forget it and it's done in literally minutes! I had dropped my original one by accident and it dented the entire front of the outside pot. While waiting for the replacement to arrive, I was so lost and had to pull out pots and pans again. So guess what? I bought a second one in a smaller size so now I have two!!!! Get one. You'll never regret it!
Absolutelty love my Instant Pot. I had had issues with my old one, so I called the Instant Pot help desk or whatever it's called. I was hoping to get a new steam release or at best a new lid. After explaining the problem and sending photos, they sent me a whole newn Instant Pot. They went over and above anything I expected. It arrived right in time as I was having withdrawals without the use of my Pot. Anyway, I love the Instant Pot. It's extremely easy to use and maintain.
I made Chicken soup last night just by sautéing carrots, celery and onions (IN THE INSANT POT!) then adding a WHOLE chicken. It cooked in 20 minutes! So easy and only 1 pot to clean. I love this thing!
I could not believe all the hype over a kitchen appliance until I tried it. Now, I use the Instant Pot all the time. In fact, it is the most used appliance in my kitchen. Perfect rice, hard-boiled eggs, and potatoes. Easy pasta dishes from dry pasta and frozen chicken and such a time saver in getting dinner on the table after work. Customer service was very diligent in trying to diagnose a problem with the electronics and getting me a replacement.
Surprised that I've had 2 pots fail in 4 years but pressure cooking is a pleasure and I appreciate the customer loyalty replacement price and fast delivery.
I love the Instant Pot in general, in that I can make soups and sauces so much more quickly and with less fuss than on the stove. The latest pot was a replacement for my original one that developed an error message. The replacement seems to have an issue with showing the Burn message much more frequently than the original. This is an issue I have read about from other IP users with newer pots. It is very inconvenient and is the reason for my slightly lower rating.
Arrived with the handle broken from the 'pot' & cracked. The box was undamaged & the handle wasn;t in the box. It would appear I was sent a broken return that they just put in a new box. (I'm surprised they asked for a rating)
