It was much larger and heavier than I expected. It took me awhile to put it together alone but everything fit just fine. Is quiet, smooth operating very sturdy and stable. I like the heart monitor because I found my heart rate was through the roof a couple of times and I knew quickly to slow down. Now if it can just get me into a bathing suit by June!
I was expecting the worst based on the reviews for this type of elliptical in this price range but instead I was pleasantly surprised. It is a quiet, smooth riding machine that assembled very easily (with the exception of a few bolts that at first didn't line up with the holes just right). It was assembled in about 2 hours and I have been riding it for 3 days. There are no strange noises and it feels as though it is a sturdy piece of exercise equipment. It does rock slightly side to side as I ride it but I wonder if that is because I have it on carpet. I only noticed the rocking the first time on it but now only notice the great workout it provides. I have it in the bedroom which isn't very big yet the size of the elliptical is compact enough that it doesn't take over the room. I definately recommend this elliptical!!
I love this elliptical. I needed help getting it out of the trunk, but assembled it by myself. The instructions were very clear and the parts were easy to distinguish. It took me 1 hour to assemble and it works like a dream! Very sturdy, quiet, and a great workout. LCD readout is easy to read and the programmed workouts are fantastic. I would and have already recommended this product to others.
I purchased this product a little over 2 years ago. I used it a lot when I first got it and loved it. Then I stopped working out for the next 8 or 9 months and gained 20 pounds. So I decided it was time to work out again. I used it almost everyday for 30 mintues, and in 6 weeks I dopped 18 pounds! But unfortunatley this past week it seems to have become warped and its wobbling side to side really bad. I am sure its from me using it so much. But I have been very satisfied with this product and it lasted over 2 years and helped me lose weight and stay in shape, which is what I purchased it for, so for me it was worth the money. I will not spend hundreds of dollars on an expensive machine, I will eventually replace this one with another one from Wal-Mart.
product is a little shaky due to the narrow base. hardware included and hardware described in instructions not quite the same, had to buy additional hardware elsewhere to complete assembly. works well for what it is. has 18" stride like larger more expensive gym equipment.
Took a little time to put together. You will need to buy some grease. The grease will be used for several shafts. The elliptical has a long 18" stride and it feels like a smooth and natural stride. This elliptical is not flimsy. It is well built. I would recommend this elliptical.
I have had this product for about 2 1/2 weeks. I enjoy it very much other than the fact that is makes so much noise that even turning the volume up on the tv doesn't drown it out. we have tried using dw-40 on all the movable parts and it does not help. I choose this upgrade from the one below it because of the noise factor. If any one has any suggestions I would appreciate them. thxs.
So I buy this item and get it all opened and layed out and there are no intructions. I call the 800 number and they direct me to a website with instructions. So im off again. Then get to puting the handles on and there arent the right parts!! So I get it half together and have to wait a week for the screws, bolts, ect. So the parts come and I start again!!!!!! Get it all together and it makes an annoying cluncking noise. It does the job but is very noisy and pain to put together. If it wasnt so hard to send back I would and get another one.
Bought this elliptical for my pregnant wife. Assembly is fairly easy,3 hours. Elliptical worked fine. The only downside is the resistance level, at the lowest setting the resistance was to high, it took my wife 2 minutes of exercise to start complaining about the hard and tired that was using the machine. I will not recommended for beginners or pregnant women. I used it my self and had the same opinion, i had used several gym ellipticals and i can tell you that the resistance setting on this one is way high compared to the professionals. After a week i return it.
I received this product and put it together...the directions do not explain how to put the pedals. My first try and the pedal came off. I took the pedal apart and put it together in a way that made more sense then the drawing. Next time, the pedal was fine. Now, on to the bigest issue. The connection of the base to the other part rubs horribly making ametal against metal sound. I took the machine apart, put it back together, and it still makes a huge noise. It seems like the frame is designed wrong. Warranty info said that my warranty was for 90 days. I called the company for an explaination, a new machine if need be...I left several message and have not received a call back. I will be returning this loosy machine to Walmart.
