I decided to try this Nature's Way Organic Flaxseed Oil as an experiment. I wanted to compare it to the Swanson brand Organic Flaxseed Oil, which I use by the __________ (fill in the blank: gallons, tons, tankers full). I find the Swanson brand Organic Flaxseed Oil to be totally Excellent and Satisfactory for my every need, and I recommend it to countless people everywhere. . . . And of course, the price is AMAZINGLY AMAZING!! I noticed that Swanson had this Nature's Way Organic Flaxseed Oil on sale at a very reasonable price, which was, as I recall, less than a couple of bucks more than the Swanson brand. Just in case I would ever need an alternate brand from Swanson's (like if Swanson were out of their brand), I thought I would give this Nature's Way product a try. I have been familiar with Nature's Way brand products, mostly herbs, for at least 4 or 5 decades, and I have found them to be a first rate, top shelf company. True to form, this "Nature's Way EfaGold Flax Oil Organic" is a first rate, top shelf product, despite the slightly unwieldy name. I found it to be just as good as the Swanson brand, and at the low price at which it was offered by Swanson, a clear choice over anything anywhere else. Have you noticed the outrageously pompous and egotistical prices on Flaxseed Oil down at the corner store? Ridiculous! I have used Flaxseed Oil my entire life. Personally, I find it to be good for everything from head to toe and inbetween. Absolutely indispensable to me, my family, my dogs, horses, and friends. You can, and I dare say should, put in some extensive time and read up all you can on Flaxseed Oil (Alpha Linolenic Acid, Vitamin F) yourself. In my opinion, that would be time well spent. Personally, I take a good size swig right out of the bottle every morning. That's probably close to one ounce. Sometimes I use more: three ounces, when I use my outboard motor (immersion blender) to whip up a concoction with about 8 to 10 ounces of non-fat Cottage Cheese and a fresh, big juicy tomato or mango. I'll have that for lunch, along with munching on baby carrots for crunch. Hey, works for me.
WOW is all I can say! This is one of the very few supplements that I can actually FEEL and SEE working very strong inside and outside of my system. My eyes and mouth do not dry up overnight anymore, I feel great and dream VERY vivid and pleasant dreams. My joints do not hurt when I lift heavy weights in the gym anymore and my skin all over my body has a healthy, strong and vibrant glow (the kind you see radiating around a Buddhist monk). I know this all sounds freaky but don't take my word for any of this. Buy 1 bottle...take 1 and a half tablespoons in the morning, again in the afternoon and 2 tablespoons at nighttime and get back to me in 3 days!!! -Dex
My husband and I have been taking omega 3-6-9 flaxseed oil for a long time, but this has all the same and it is ⅓ of the price of the one we have bought previously.
This is the best tasting oil ... for flax oil. Use it for dressings and non cooking purposes

EFA Gold Flax Oil has a good taste and is easy to pour from the container.
I have been using this product for years. I buy the version without lignan because I don't like the graininess of the lignan. It doesn't contain any flavor and the taste takes some getting used to for the first week or so, but the benefits to my health have been great. This brand is consistently lower in price than competing products and the quality has always been good. I have frequently taken it on trips without refrigeration for several days and it has maintained its freshness. I would highly recommend it.
Good flaxseed oil, but Spectrum Essentials is the best brand and comes in 24 ounce bottles. Swansons stopped carrying it so have to buy it niw from another supplement supplier. Why did Swansons stop carrying the better grands and grades of flaxseed oil?
Tastes too bitter.
Misleading label. It contains Sunflower oil. I was purchasing flaxseed oil.
