So I think I have stated this in previous reviews, but I'll say it again... My son is a Halo fanatic... He seriously eats, sleeps, and dreams Halo. So when we heard Mattel was coming out with a line of premium 6 inch Halo action figures, we knew he would have to collect em... And he was so excited when this first one came in the mail! The Halo Ghost Vehicle and Elite Officer figure look like they jumped right off of the screen while we were playing Halo, they are fantastically detailed to look just like their in-game models. It is built for older kids, but definitely made for display and play. The Elite officer figure is super poseable, super detailed, and super tough lookin! My son loves the removable armor, and the only downside with that is some of the armor pieces are pretty tiny and easy to lose... Wish they hooked onto the figure a little tighter. The Ghost vehicle is a perfect model of the actual Ghost vehicles in-game, we love it! My son's favorite feature is the adjustable seat in the Ghost, which allows you to place figures of different sizes at the wheel (My boy was stoked Master Cheif could "commandeer" the Ghost, and hunt down them pesky covenant Elites!) Love the display stand that comes with the Ghost, that makes it look like it is hovering... Perfect for all my son's little diorama displays he likes to create! All in all, this set is a must have for any Halo fan/any kid that loves Halo, and we plan to buy the rest of this line of awesome action figures! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
My kids love Halos so they were so excited when they opened the box. They were both surprised that the elite officer was so easy to set up in different poses. This toy is great for all age groups. The Halo Ghost Vehicle & Elite Officer Figure is a great quality toy and great size, my kids love it and really enjoy it. The seat is adjustable and it's really detailed. Another great thing about it is that my child is able to put it on the stand and display it on his room when he's done playing with it. I would definitely encourage parent to buy this toy. My boys enjoyed playing with the Halo Figure and Car. This action figure is made very sturdy and it don't break once you take out the package. The toys are cool looking. First, the cruiser seems to be like the rest like others, just giving the ability to place the action figure into it. Doesn't make sounds or doesn't do anything special. Just have to pretend as the rest. The cruiser does have very nice details and crafted very well. Second, the figure is very cool too, its well crafted and well made. Gives you the ability to take the armor off which is nice but can be a pain if your kids lose parts of their toys. The figure does look real looking compared to the character its representing. Anybody that has been following Halo on Xbox and is anticipating the motion picture coming out will love this toy. The features on it make it look so life like and young kids all over will enjoy playing with it until their old enough to play the actual videogame. I think to truly enjoy these halo characters you need their homebase and vehicles too. The action figures are so much and fun and will have any kid smiling. As soon as my son unwrapped this toy his imagination went wild! I must admit, some of the pieces were a bit troublesome to put together, but once we did, he took off, literally! Flying through the air, all around the house like he was on a mission. Very durable toy! Also has a stand so the vehicle can sit propped up in his room. This was a great addition to his collection! This toy is so cool. It is like a display because it has a stand you can put it on but also allows you to take it off and play with it. It definitely is high quality. The stand does not fit too good though. It sort of just sits on it, it doesnt snap into place. Also the armor on the guy does not fit well in certain spots. It seems to fall off very easy. Besides that though this is a GREAT product. My son loves it ans was in awe when I got it. Overall I give it a 4 out of 5. When this toy arrived I was very impressed, it is a lot bigger than I thought it would be. My son had a fabulous time playing with it.
