I use the Duggar's recipe for liquid laundry soap/detergent (Google it for the recipe). I always use pink Zote soap instead of Fels Naptha. Zote is softer and easier to cut, and is a bigger bar. When I make it, I use my Professional Salad Shooter to grate the soap. It makes grating it really fast! The Duggar's recipe makes a 5 gallon bucket undiluted. I like to use a paint mixer that attaches to a drill to mix it. After it has set overnight to cool and jell, I mix it up again to break it up. Then we put 1/2 water and 1/2 liquid soap into a 1 gallon size sun tea jar (plastic) with a spout on the bottom. It works very well for us. We use vinegar as a fabric softener. I used to have a front loader, and this can be used in them (HE), but it broke (not related to the soap) and now we have a top loader. It works well in either.
1. Inexpensive 2. Brightens whites even if you choose not to use bleach 3. A little goes a mighty long way. 4. Delicately scented 5. Suds are “just enough” 6. Lifts hard stains easily I replaced liquid detergent with this bar. I grate it, freeze, and use as needed. Dispenses easier when frozen. Grocery staple. I buy 2-4 bars at a time.
I love using this sope. It is great for removing stains. Also, I cut it into smaller rectangles and use it had handsoap. It doesn't dry my hands and my kids like the smell.
Zote is made of magic...it makes stains disappear like you waved a magic wand over them! It works as a stain treatment on stubborn set in stains (I soak garment in hot water for about 5 minutes then rub zote directly onto spot and rub with same garmet or use a soft toothbrush and gently brush in same direction as fabric then rinse with hot water...repeat if stain is still visible). It can also be used as a stand alone laundry detergent ( I shred it with an old cheese grater and it works great!) or it can be used as a laundry detergent booster. It smells great and it's very affordable. I have been using it for about 9 years now and I will not do laundry without it..! Fun fact...you can also use it for catfish bait...they love it! And so will you!
When my machine developed a horrid smell %26 chuncks of mold in the bottom of the tub... I ran a cleaner through 4 cycles and decided to switch to bar laundry soap. Im glad I did. This bar soap came highly recommended and it earns my recommendation as well!
this soap is amazing I wash my clothes and tied use Tide pods and when I was finished washing the clothes I decided to wash them again but just a sliver of this bar soap and you wouldn't believe what the water looked like and mind you I had already washed the clothes once and tied once I seen what this product done with the second wash it made me wonder what I really been washing my clothes with for a long time now The water on the second wash look like mop water it looked like I hadn't washed the clothes ever so yeah tied really failed me once I did that second wash and seeing how the unbelievably clean this product got my clothes and the clothes were already supposedly washed it looked like with the second wash that it got more dirt out it just was remarkable really really great product and PS you can use it for other things around your house as well very very very good deal on the soap it's like a $1.50 under a dollar fifty and yeah one little sliver is all you need because it's concentrated very good product it gets rid of odors it gets rid of stains and it even got rust out of a very expensive blouse so yeah try the product and yeah try the product
I love to use this to clean my makeup brushes because it's such a big huge bar of soap I can have it for a whole year and clean my brushes. I also use it for major stains on laundry and sometimes I even will finally chop it up if I ran out of laundry detergent and it works just as well. great product and extremely cheap but will last you forever.
I really like using ZOTE Laundry Bar Soap %26 I rather use the pink bar because it makes it easier to see how much use. I use ZOTE soap a couple differant ways. The 1st way I use it is I will get the clothing that has a stain on it wet %26 then rub the ZOTE bar on the clothing in the same way you use beauty bar soap on a washcloth. The other way I use it is I will use an old cheese grader to shred it %26 put it in with either my homemade laundry soap or I add about 1-2 cups to a load of laundry along with the store bought laundry detergent. You could use a blender or food procecer just about a cup more or less of baking soda because the Zote is sticky. There is another brand of bar laundry soap, but I like the smell of ZOTE better.

Two days after mistakenly ordering this item from this seller, I cancelled the order because I did not want it, and it was late anyway. The seller refused my cancellation request, and still took my money. Six days after the order, I received a notification that the item had shipped. I will never order from this seller or make this mistake again.
