I bought two at regular price earlier in the year which I wore constantly over my other pullover fleeces. I saw they were on saw so I purchased 4 more so I wouldn't run out of them. I even took some up to my weekend house so I would always have them up there.
I love these 1/4 Zip fleeces. I now have two, both purchased on sale so they were a screaming deal. They are warm, and have an athletic fit. I am a pretty slim guy - 5'7" at 130lbs (I buy size small) and they are not baggy on me at all, but not skin tight either. They are definitely a midlayer and seem to hold up well with use and normal machine washings. I will probably buy another in a different color.
As a relatively new runner, I wanted to continue running outside as we've entered into winter and so tried this pullover fleece out. It's really been a perfect fleece top. It's woven tight enough to block the wind (and it gets pretty windy here!), the chest pocket is just big enough for my Pixel 3 XL, and it dries pretty quickly, too. Definitely recommend it if you're going to be very active outside.
Eddie Bauer First Ascent is pretty much all I wear in the combat zones of Afghanistan. Fabulous fit, feel and wear endurance through the most challenging of environments and climates. I can't imagine wearing anything else.
The chest pocket should be toned down a bit. Seems like it should somewhat match the overall primary color of the shirt - in this case a slightly darker shade of green or dark grey. Also, why are you utilizing both logos? EB on the chest and FA on the sleeve feels cluttered.
The chest patches on these are gray, not black. These would be much better without the chest piece, in my opinion. Maybe an inside pocket instead? Bought it cheap enough that I won't return it, but I'm always disappointed when I receive something that wasn't accurately represented.
Bought this fleece a couple of weeks ago. After one wash (done according to tag instructions), the dark gray accent around the zipper has peeled up and is no longer attached to the fleece. I expected much better quality from Eddie Bauer, especially considering the price.
you know I wasn't going to write a review but I kept gettin my email spammed about writing a review so here you go. Cheaply made, the seam came apart. not cool. tried calling about a return and the service was bad, not going to mess with that garbage. They wanted me to do a lot of work just to get a new one when I should've had one shipped as an apology!!
Thought this item would be the same as one previously purchased. Color did not match what shown online, was material was rough and received tall version instead so the sleeves were way too long.
Terrible fit. Cheaply made.
