[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product as a voxbox. I decided to try this on my hair as well as my niece. We both have different hair types and I wanted to see whose twist it would work better on. I would say that the texture is light weight. Both of our hair is thick, so once it dries and we keep the twist in for a few days? I will come back for an update.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was weary at first because I was not a fan of past cantu products I had used but upon using this I was impressed! I used a bit on my niece's hair to do twist outs and there was not a white, filmy cast at all using this gel. It holds well & a little goes a long way. I loved the scent also it was a bit citrusy and floral, the jar was filled to the top with product! I think I will def be purchasing this for her again, thank you so much influenster for this VoxBox!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I very much like this braiding gel! I used it after freshly washing and blow drying my hair before my braids. I used it while braiding each braid to give the best hold. I noticed that it made the braids last longer than when braided without. I do recommend this product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This worked amazing on my hair! I used it to do my mini twists which I usually leave in for a while. This didn't dry my hair out or leave any residue. It wasn't stick but held my hair great. I would definitely recommend this product!
I LOVE it for the moisture and hold. Your hair will have a souffle texture after use for at least 2-3 days or longer depending on how much you use. I used to teist my hair. I also realized it can be used just to put on natural 4C hair as a comb through. however it will have a souffle texture to it. Do not buy if you want a hard dry hold.

I normally hate cantu products but this gel is PERFECT! I braided a few clients hair with this gel. It smooths hair well and helps natural hair blend with braiding hair. It's now my favorite gel and I'm gonna order more. The hold is amazing and I have no issues with whiting or flakes.
the only thing my teen will use to twist his hair. my only complaint is its usally out of stock at my store and a 30 mile radius. so i have to order online usually.

The hold is nice at first, maybe I need to put more or add a different gel too to make it last holder for the edges. Or some spray. But yeah. I really like it. Even with my twists and my braids, gives it a sleek start and helps stretch the hair out too. This been my go to.
I didnt expect this to be thick and greasy. I thought it was a gel. It work good for my twists though.
