Very easy to assembled! My husband gave a big surprise assembled this machine in only 45 minutes. Just you need one 7/16 and one 1/2 wrench because the wrench that come with the product is very amateur and don't guaranteed security . I worked in this elliptical for 30 minutes only the first time and is very very good ! I strongly recommended . Good workout in home with not much money . !
well after read other opinion on this product i almost did not buy it. but i could not find one to meet the cost i wanted to spead. thinking if it did not work right i would take it back to wal-mart and get my money back. well i am here to tell you this is one great product. it meet my price rage and meet all my expectations and then some. the shorter strocks are much better then the larger one evry one talk about thy wish it had. the shorter strocks give you a much better work out. when i strated to use the cross trainer witch was the night i put it together. it took about an hr. or so to do so and i got on it to give it a try. i only did about a 1/2 mile and could feel it working my legs and arm right away. that 1/2 mile was about all i could do at the time now i do about 2 miles ever other night on it. the other nights i do maybe a 1/4 mile backwords on it and belive me thats a work out in it self. over all this is a great product and i would recommend it to any one that really want to brun off some cal or to get in shape.
If you are expecting the same experience you get in the gym with their elliptical machines, this is not it. However, you get much more of a workout because it is a manual machine. I can do 30 minutes easy in the gym on an electric elliptical, but I am just now working up to 5 minutes STRAIGHT on this machine. If you want a good work out, and you are of small to normal stature for a woman, it should work fine. Another reviewer posted that it has a smaller stride, so I guess if you were taller, it might not be as good of a buy.
This ellipitical was easy to assemble & is just what I was looking for - an affordable ellipitcal that works great !!! I did not not have room - or did not want the impact of running on a treadmill. My doctor recommended getting an elliptical & I love it!
I got this elliptical trainer mainly because of the price. I didn't want "el cheap-o", but I also didn't need a gym quality machine. I got it put together in just over a couple of hours. The reason it got 4 stars was the fact that I couldn't get the tension wire attatched, luckily that is not a part I actually need. I was working out the same night I got it together. Personally, I like to work out during the noon news, and I can already do over 20 minutes at a time.
I use this machine everyday & get a great workout from it. I can only stay on 15 minutes.....I can usually go 30 on a treadmill. My husband assembled this for me....it took about 3 hours. The only reason it receives 4 stars instead of 5, is that the distance/time/caloriesburned screen doesn't work. This is probably due to assembly, not the actual product. Either way, I don't use that feature anyway. It is worth the price!!
my husband put this together in about an hour. It is an excellant worout works the legs and but real well. upper body does not get work out as much neither does your "core". This is something you would probably need a seperate workout for. all in all a great machine. it can be a bit tipsy at first but once you gain the correct balance it works pretty well.
...you get what you pay for. I had such high hopes that I would hit the lottery and get one of these that didn't have that infamous flaw of a bad pedal, but I did. No matter what, I cannot get the left pedal to stop that incessant squeaking. Plus, that same side does not track correctly. The bar is slightly off the wheel on the left, as if it's bent. Who knows. Took a lot of time and care to put this together correctly, to end up with this. What's really disappointing is that it COULD have been a pretty great little machine. I did use it for a little while and it gives a great workout. But I just can't stand the noise anymore...neither can anyone else at 5am when I like to workout. Spend a few more do$$ars! Get a quality machine. Oh, and the only reason I gave it a Fair for overall quality was because of its *potential* to be a good elliptical.
When ordering this product online, I was pleased with the site to store feature. After the account confirmation was taken care of, the product was at the store in two days. I got it home, took less than two hours to set it up, and was ready to get going. However, doing just 10 minutes a day, the machine broke after just 22 minutes of use. That's two days, and just getting started on the third. The problem was a torsion spring that put tension on the belt for resistance, stretched and broke. Being completely unsatisfied with the product, the store took it back, gave me my money back, and we upgraded to a better model.
It broke the 2nd time I used it, although its cheap, if it doesn't work its not worth the money, don't waste your time putting it together only to disassemble it to return it :(
