Wonderful soap making kit. Comtains all materials needed to create 8 soap bars. Pleasant scents. Organic materials. Lovely colors. And sturdy molds.
Bought this as an impulse. Pleasantly surprised at the ease of use. Instructions were very helpful. I got 8 bars from the ingredients with scent and color left over. While wholesale ingredients are less expensive this kit is fabulous for a beginner. My cost per bar was only $2 so not too bad. Definitely recommend for beginners and teens or tweens.
This kit was about $6.00 cheaper than other stores, so I purchased it for my daughter who just started making soap. Overall, the kit is worth the money, however, she didn't care for the soap itself. She ended up using the Shea Butter Glycerin that she purchased at Hobby Lobby after the initial batch. I would still recommend this, the celtic molds are great.
Looks interesting - having used yet
If you want to make gifts I suggest that you get a recipe off the internet and order your ingredients. This comes out to $ 6.50 a bar. Will not buy again
The kit says makes 7 bars, I only got 4. Seems to dissolve quickly in the water. Over priced for 4 bars of soap.
