After only 20 years the rear tires on my STX38 gave out and had to be replaced. I checked everywhere local in north GA Forsyth county and no one had them in stock. Google search revealed that Wall-Mart had the tires I needed and was at a special price of $25 compared to others selling same for $60+. Set up my on-line Wall-Mart account and place my first order to be delivered to the local store. Tires arrived as quoted confirmed by the provided tracking number and a call from my local Wall-Mart. Pickup was easy and a local mower service center mounted the tires. The new Hi-Run Turf Saver tires are preforming better than expected, better traction and no leaks they also look good on my 20+ year old garden tractor. I highly recommend these tires and the Wall-Mart on-line ordering system. We are also very pleased with their customer service.
Great tires
Perfect fit for my 2016 Troy Bilt Pony 42". Good quality tires and nice tread pattern
They get the job done. Profile of tire is not as flat as original. Toughest part was trying to get the tire beads set so you put air in tire. Method used was 2 tie down straps. Each mounted on the very outside perimeter of tire. Even that took some doing to get them set. After all said and done next time will install tubes.
I had no problem getting the old tires off and these new guys onto the wheels. However I could not get the beads to set. Tried just about every suggestion, except for heat, that I could find on Youtube. Finally took them to a tire dealer I know and they were able to get them finished and only charged me 10 bucks. Now to get back to mowing and hopefully these tires will hold up. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
the tire was not wide enough to expand to fit the rim without having to add a tube to make it. cost an extra 35 dollars to have it mounted. it also did not fully seat like the original carlisle tire, and was taller and skinnier
Where is my order. It is 4 days later and was supposed to be ready after 4:59PM today but when I checked on it your agents did not know or how to tell me where or what happened to my order. Neither has online Walmart agent let me know what happened to my order. The order is 2 lawn mower tires. 20 x 8.00-8
While the tires are the correct size, they are very thin and weak in the sidewall; this coupled with Walmart's storage%26 delivery method (not supported on the interior) resulted in the collapse of the tire and prevents the ability to seat the tires on the rim. I took then to 2 separate tire shops after I was unable to make it work, and both were unable to get the tires to seat.
This tire extremely difficult to put on and impossible to inflate. Took it to a J.D. tractor shop who also couldn't inflate it. I had to purchase a tube to be able to inflate my tubeless tire. I should have just returned it. Take all the bad reviews seriously and do not buy this tire. I tried to save money with a cheaper tire and ended up spending the same for an expensive tire to get it inflated. You get what you paid for.
FED-EX is the worst shipping company you never get it on the day your suppose to there is always a delay. they have told me to go look around my neighborhood to see if I could find it. I once bought a hot tub cover for $550.00 dollars told me it was delivered for me to go look for it after 2 days later I did find it at the wrong street name and address thank you to the folks that called me to say it was there
