The quality of this quilt was excellant. It was constructed well, and the quilting was a higher quality then many more expensive quilt sets. The color really pops in my bedroom.
When I saw that a similar quilt from another vendor was sold out, I did a search on the the internet for a king-size indiqo quilt and was directed to this quilt from Wal-Mart. I was skeptical, but ordered it anyway. I also purchased another quilt from a different store that was much more expensive. I'm happy to say this quilt from Wal-Mart was exactly what I wanted. The colors are vibrant and the quilt is well made - equal to the other quilt that I purchased (and am returning) that was twice the price. One thing to note - the picture shows this fitting more like a bedspread. It is definitely a quilt that requires a dust ruffle over the box spring (i.e. it does not extend past the mattress.)
I love my new blue indigo quilt set, it has lots of personality with all the patterns. I am so very happy to have a new look I also got the darkening curtain panels. I ordered two colors and the stone blue was a much better match than the indigo. Just the quilt is the perfect weight for summer. I am now getting new sheets too, its all so beautiful.
I am really happy with the quilt. I ordered a king size because I wanted it to be big enough with the dust ruffle on it looks very nice. It is very colorful and stylish. Very good quality.
Colors from deep blue to light make this a stunning spread and the colors jump out at you when you peek into the bedroom. I ordered the King as I have a queen high mattress. It still does not go to the floor but it is okay. I hope it does not shrink too much when I wash it. I might put a dust ruffle under it to complete the look but I really do not have too. Construction is very good and even my husband likes it. Good purchase for the value.
Love this quilt set! I bought the king for my queen bed and it fits very nicely, like a bedspread. No need for dust ruffle. The colors are so vibrant yet calming. The lighter weight is nice too! Wish I could get the throw pillows though!
I got the Full/Queen size and for my queen size bed but I needed a bed skirt. It would work on a full size bed as a bedspread. I would recommend the king size if you wanted to use it as a bedspread on a queen size bed.
The quilt is really nice, it has some flowered quilted pieces, but more geometric designed & striped pieces, therefore it is manly enough to put on a guys bed. I purchased a full/queen size for my twin size bed. It was a little long and drug on the floor so I washed it in cold water and dried it on high heat, it shrunk about 4-5 inches and now fits my twin bed perfectly. Therefore, I would recommend you purchase a quilt one size larger then your bed.It is advertised as reversable quilt, however the reversed side of the quilt has an unsightly pattern and therefore I would not call it a reversable quilt due to the pattern they chose.
I bought this quilt to use as a bedspread. Consequently, I bought the king-sized for a double bed, and this works quite well, with adequate drop on both sides and enough length to cover the pillows and tuck in (I am not using the shams). As indicated in some previous comments, you will not be able to use the quilt as a bedspread if you buy the size indicated for your bed, despite the appearance in the photo. The photo is also deceptive in the color. The close-up is more accurate in this regard: the quilt has a lot of white in it, and the overall impression is not as blue as the overall photo appears. The quilt is well made. Although the description refers to a cotton-polyester cover and 100% polyester fill, the "100% cotton" bullet point is correct: top, back, and fill are all 100% cotton. The quilt is thin but dense and heavy, like a real, old-fashioned quilt rather than a puffy comforter. It is closely machine quilted in a random design. Although it is a (machine-sewn) pieced quilt, the patchwork design is also rather random. There are no strong horizontal or vertical lines to assist in placing the quilt squarely on the bed; this is especially true if you choose to use the solid-fabric back of the quilt as the top. Although I still miss the colors and design of the hand-quilted pieced comforter that this replaced, it is a reasonably satisfactory substitute. One good point is that the extra weight makes it less prone to slide off the end of the bed in the night.
I really liked the bedspread. The weight is perfect and the appearance is very pretty. The material is a little more stiff than I expected. I was hoping it would feel softer, but I washed it using a lot of fabric softener and that helped. Probably with time, it will loosen up a bit. I do like it very much and am pleased with it overall. The package arrived earlier than promised, too.
