I bought this for my 3 year old who has just gone through potty training. It's a life saver on family outings when there are no close rest rooms and she just can't hold it any longer. I specifically bought it for our camping trips, knowing that any modern facilities could potentially be quite a hike and it's not as easy for little girls to, you know, in the woods as it is for boys. It works wonderfully and my little girl loves using it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with pre-schoolers who love outdoor family adventures.
One of biggest fears with potty training was how we would manage out of the house. This product helped ease my mind. You never really know what kind of toilet you will encounter in public places, and having this device comforts my son (who doesn't like change). I said it was well designed because it is small and light enough to carry in a regular tote bag, and it fits nicely on top of any toilet. I haven't used it too much as a self-contained potty, but it certainly works in that capacity. The legs easily fold up and down, it is stable, and all you really need is plastic grocery store bags (without holes or doubled!) The bags that come with it aren't that impressive, just smaller grocery-type bags with a thin liner. If you have a big car or are outside in some kind of private spot the self-contained potty works.
The potette plus is perfect. It's so compact if fits in my purse. My daughter has used it several times since we've bought it, even on our walk. So glad we have it! I bought the package of bags also, they have a little paper towel in them to absorb everything, which makes it easy to tie up and throw away.
We had this potty for my oldest daughter and was very please with it. It folds up small to fit in a bag, and is great to use as a potty when visiting others.
If you are in the process of potty training and are afraid to leave the house due to potential accidents, this is the product for you.
I absolutely love this potti! It fits perfectly on our home toilet and my 2 year old always wants to sit on it because it's a "big girl potti". No real success yet but she'll get there! The travel potti is perfect because it can be used anywhere you are - in the car, at a relative's house, etc. The best part is you or your child never have to touch a public toilet! It's really a great potti!
I have used this with both my girls, and they both loved it! I keep it in the car as, "that time" always seems to be right in the middle of a drive. The Potette is hands down the best traveling Potty we have used, and I have wasted plenty of money with my first daughter on other products that are more expensive but way less useful. I love this potty and would recommend 100%.
Wish I'd had one for potty training my children, not just my grandchildren. So portable and convenient. I now give as baby gift.
I bought this potty in anticipation of a road trip. It was nice and compact and I was able to pull it out and use it on the side of the road with my 2 year old. It is nice that you can put up to 3 bags one the potty and just pull them off as used.
This potty folds very flat so it's easy to stick in my bag. My son was a little uneasy when he first sat down on it. It would be nice if there were some kind of handle on the side for him to hold onto. I love the fact that it can be used not only as a stand alone (which you can use regular grocery bags with to save money) or spread open the legs of the potty and use it in public restrooms. Having boys is nice because they don't have to sit but when those times come when that do have to sit this potty seat comes in handy!
