This rowing machine is sturdy although the computer could be better. Their customer service is fantastic, I had some trouble putting it together so I called them and left a message. They called me back immediately and also shipped the part which was for some reason not fitting well. Overall a good value for money!
Love my new rower, easy to put together (did have to run to hardware store to replace one nut), compact width takes less space on floor. I use for rowing swapping my hand grip from over to under to change up the workout. It is great sitting still too to workout arms and abs
I was so excited when the box came to the door super fast delivery, so easy to put together and it is so great to use. Easy breezy and a great workout I highly recommend it!
If you are looking to begin getting fit at home or the office, this is it. This rowing machine only has a few tension settings, which are good if you are a beginner that doesn't want to go to the gym. It is easy to move and store. I recommend using it while watching your favorite show or a movie since it is very quiet. I am very happy with this purchase!
I'm 49 and out of shape. I was looking for something low impact and non-weight bearing because my knees are shot. I've had this for a few weeks now and am able to row for 30 minutes. Am starting to see improvement in a arm strength and leg muscle tone. :)
The setting with the least resistance is enough for me for now. As I build muscle I may move up to the higher settings. The calorie counter either doesn't work right or rowing burns only 1 calorie an hour. But I wanted toning, not calorie burning anyway. The straps on the foot pads are weird and unnecessary. I plan to move them to wrap behind the foot pads to get them out of the way. This is a good inexpensive piece of equipment for beginners. I would buy it again. Good value for the money.
About 45 minutes assembly time, working alone. Has held up well under daily use for a few weeks now - for a 160lb user. Sits a bit lower to the ground than I expected. I suspect that if anything does go wrong it will be from the two welds on stress and load bearing points. But - so far so good!
Gives a full body workout. Great cardio. At 73 I find it to be a perfect exercise.
The rower was easy to install. In the beggining I screwed all the bolts lightly and after everything was together I tightened everything. The rower is solid and great for the price. I love it and use it with a small step master and pedals (you sit on a chair and put the pedals in front of the chair) and I do some floor exercises. It is all the exercise I need and I cancelled my gym membership which saves me $30 every month. Take your time when you put the rower it together. Instructions are easy to follow. I highly reccomand it.
For the money, the rower is adequate; however, it has issues. After about a week the machine starts squeaking so we removed the bolt that attaches the handle to the frame and oiled it. That solved the problem. From the get go the counter didn't work when placed on the metal holder. We had to velcro it to the unit sideways before it would work correctly. When changing from level 1 to 2, the knob keeps loosing up so that I have to tighten it several times during a work out. My husband will have to modify that too. I do like the quick results I've achieved when working out but will be at level 4 in the not too distant future and then have no where to go. This is definitely a beginner's rower that may serve the needs of individuals that only want to work out infrequently.
