I got this because I am recovering from breaking the tibea and fibula in my left leg. I liked that this cane is adjustable since I had to raise it up one notch. I don't care much for the grey grip though because it clashes with the cane and gives it more of that "older" feel. I wouldn't really say this is a "red crackle" design, it looks more purple to me but that's ok. It wasn't worth sending it back over. I wanted to find an all wood cane because they look cooler but this one works for my needs.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My favorite cane. The handle is padded; the height is adjustable; it folds for easy travel on planes; and best of all there is a wrist strap built into the handle.
Borrowed this from my wife when sprained knee. Much easier on hand than u shaped handle of standard wood cane. Adjusted height easily. My wife packs it in her backpack. Says its hard to keep the 4 pieces together without a velcro band. So she has one attached to the wrist strap. Lighter than wooden cane and more functional. Gonna buy my own.
I rec'd the cane and wrapped it to give it to someone special.
The instructions are not clear. There is a black plastic band that needs to come off, but how? Another plastic peice around cane handle, what is it for? Interfers with grip. Finally got cane open and had a very difficult time trying to get a button to appear to lock in place. After finally finding button realized the cane does not collaspe to the right height for a short person. Would not recommend for mechanically challenged or anyone under 5'.
the grip handle on this cane disintegrated, it just rubbed off exposing black plastic underneath.
I can not understand why don´t you have replacement parts for these canes, only the tip, if you need to change the grip or even the upper section the anser is "get a new one"
